In what has become an annual, Christmas Eve tradition of sorts, I wonder if anyone else out there is spending your Christmas Eve solo.
I suppose we're never really alone if we have FR and the wonderful people who make up the membership here.
Merry Christmas, everyone.
Merry Christmas.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Nowhere for dinner tomorrow? If we were closer you could come over here. We’re doing “Christmas Story” style. Take-out.
It’s a tradition at my house.
I’ve never before really noted these lyrics from the carol O Come O Come Emmanuel...
O come our wisdom from on high.
Who ordered all things mightily.
To us the path of knowledge show,
and teach us in her ways to go.
Merry Christmas to my FR pals!
Yeah, I’m heading to mom’s house tomorrow, which will be jam packed with family.
I’ll have my 58th birthday in two weeks. I have spent every Christmas with my mom. How many people my age can say that?
Very blessed.
We had our son, daughter and their kids over this morning for brunch. It was a good time. We are not travelling to Ohio tomorrow to husband’s family this year. Decided to just stay home and relax.
Merry Christmas from me and my hubby.
No one is alone if they believe in CHRISTmas. Merry Christmas!
I was a few years ago. TCM was my ally.
Yep, but wife visiting Marine Capt son and wife, so it ain’t bad having the house to myself for a few days.
Merry Christmas, if you’re a freeper you’re never alone.
Thank you! You are most kind.
A grand dinner at mom’s house tomorrow.
Tell the wife that. Perhaps she will accommodate. 8>)
We got a few inches of snow today, so Beau and I had a hurry-up supper and he’s off plowing snow on Christmas Eve. Time and a half; CHA-Ching! :)
The dogs, cats and I are going to watch, ‘Die Hard’ because it IS a Christmas movie, no matter what anyone tries to tell you, and I’m working on charity crochet projects that are due mid-January.
I had my FILL of Beau’s family, last night. Nice people, but all of them together...and throw in a dozen Grandkids? Yeah. It was MORE than enough, ‘Family Togetherness,’ LOL!
Merry Christmas, Skooz! I prefer to think of myself as, ‘Alone, but never Lonely!’
I watched it for the first time last night. I enjoyed it very much.
Merry Christmas. Have you considered visiting a neighbor or local family?
Or if you want to be a saint, visit the local nursing home and talk to people who are alone and unable to get out.
I am at work, as I am on Christmas Day but I choose to be so others can spend time with family. There is a coworker with me and others on chat.
I had my family Christmas on Friday when I was off work. If your job is at a 365/24/7 site, you get used to juggling time off so everyone gets inconvenienced a little. Don’t feel sorry for me, though. I get a higher hourly pay rate and it helps pay my bills.
You and your Mom are quite blessed, Merry Christmas to you both!
No, I haven’t.
But, you put a bug in my ear for next year.
All the kids are grown, and the grandchild is off at school about 200 miles away, so we are are in a “shared” alone I guess.
It sounds like you're doing ok under the circumstances.
For any/all who aren't, I wish them a Merry Christmas as well and may the Lord bless and watch over them.
Yeah, I’m home alone, but it’s cool. It’s white outside, the snow is still falling (central Indiana), it’s quiet, and I’ve been watching reruns of Stargate SG-1. What’s not to be joyous about?
