In what has become an annual, Christmas Eve tradition of sorts, I wonder if anyone else out there is spending your Christmas Eve solo.
I suppose we're never really alone if we have FR and the wonderful people who make up the membership here.
Merry Christmas, everyone.
Merry Christmas to you skooz, God Bless and enjoy!
What part of Cajun country are you from without being
specific. I spent my early years in SW La.
Wish I were
Merry Christmas! You are right about your FR family.
Christmas Steak sounds great!
Yes, but I’m having Christmas dinner with the boss and his wife tomorrow.
Merry Christmas to you. I’m going to dinner at son’s house, breakfast at daughter’s tomorrow, but will spend tomorrow alone afternoon and evening, and I’m looking forward to it because I got myself some beautiful lamb chops, my favorite! Have a wonderful evening, FRiend.
Baking tiny meatballs to go over egg noodles w/ a tomato cream sauce. Just the two of us with a cat & a dog. Your dinner sounds wonderful! Merry Christmas to you too.
I ran the sound at the Christmas Eve service at church & am now alone.
I’ll be alone until my shift ends at 10:00 pm. I’m the only soul in a giant factory as I’m the security guy. I’ve listened to some Christmas Carols and read a bit of news on FR. Of course I check the banks of security cameras too.
Merry Christmas, Skooz from me and the wife.
Enjoy your steak, Christmas music and It’s a Wonderful Life.
God bless.
Thank you! Same to you.
My loneliest was ‘86 outside wrapped in a poncho in a thunderstorm in front of an armory in Camp Hansen, Okinawa. I was a PFC and I distinctly remember reconsidering my career choice.
I’ve spent holidays alone....but this is a birthday celebration it’s impossible to be alone if you know him... though you might be lonely that is not the same...celebrate and dance to the music even if you’re not with people.... he is there..he’s always there....and enjoy Him!
I surprised myself more than once! You can too!
Merry Christmas!
I’m next door here in Mississippi.
Yuengling in a gold rimmed Stella Artois beer glass.
Wife in the kitchen preparing dinner.
Listening to Henry Mancini back here in the music/computer room.
Perry Como’s Christmas Special 1974 blaring on the TV.
Thank you for your service.
Sounds good to me! Merry Christmas! I am semi-alone. I am sitting here watching and listening to all the great college choirs singing carols and Christmas favorites. My husband, who has dementia, is asleep in his recliner. I wonder if he knows it’s Christmas.
Going to a big family gathering tomorrow and another next weekend but have tonight to myself thankfully. I’m drinking hot cocoa and watching Christmas movies while browsing online, life is grand. :)
