Elizondo was not able to discuss specifics of the program, but told The Telegraph that there had been lots of UFO sightings and witnesses interviewed during the programs five years.
Investigators pinpointed geographical hot spots that were sometimes near nuclear facilities and power plants and observed trends among the aircrafts including lack of flight surfaces on the objects and extreme manoeuvrability, Elizondo told The Telegraph.
"There was never any display of hostility but the way they manoeuvred, in ways no-one else in the world had, you have to be conscious something could happen, he said.
Despite Pentagon funding running out in 2012, Elizondo oversaw UFO work for another five years before resigning in October 2017 out of frustration with the secrecy of the investigation. He had pushed for videos of the possible alien sightings to be made public so people could see the footage.
In his resignation letter to Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, he asked, Why arent we spending more time and effort on this issue? There remains a vital need to ascertain capability and intent of these phenomena for the benefit of the armed forces and the nation."
Elizondo told The Telegraph hed like to see someone prop up the probe again.
"I'd say bolster the programme. We want Nasa to find life on different planets, but we have highly educated pilots here and they're seeing something they can't understand."

I post this to show that this story is making the rounds. It appears that the force behind this story is the DOD (Luis Elizondo says nothing that hasn’t been approved by the DOD).
Hope they find hungry aliens that eat stupid people, we have plenty
And before you skeptics get started...this is ten times better than tracking Santa and his reindeer.
That said, they may eat them later.
I guess I just think with my limited human mind and the vast expanses and the needed technology Just seems staggering
BTW, Merry Christmas to you and your housemate.
Thanks. Likewise to you and all those you love.
There is that, alright. Alas, the evidence is that the reptoids inclined to eat people don't discriminate much between the available humans to eat.
“All green of skin... 800 centuries ago, their bodily fluids include the birth of half-breeds. For the fundamental truth self-determination of the cosmos, for dark is the suede that mows like a harvest.”
“We know they’re extremely advanced technologically, which suggests - very rightfully so - that
they’re peaceful. An advanced civilization, by definition, is not barbaric.”
That is a fatal conceit, as musloids can use computers and fly planes and get jobs answering phones in india...
I realize our science fantasy shows love to show all this lovely contact between alien races, sometimes even working together, sometimes at ‘odds’, yet rarely do you see entire planets or solar objects being destroyed.
Think about it: You have likely a thousand times closer relationship with ants or dolphins or even trees; tell me your plan to communicate with them before they decide that you're just too much trouble. The application of technology will be extermination not communication.
IF, by some grace of God, He sends to us people just like us, our first reaction should be to fire every single thing we have at them. Simply sharing the same air could easily create the most vicious epidemics we've ever experienced; something like Ebola might be a common vaccination among their people, making them immune and us wiped out in days.
There's really just no way around this. I know we crave for there to be something beyond us, above us, someone to take the journey with us. Heck, JUST the news of another entity out there would likely result in one of the deepest religious crisis ever. We argue over little points, imagine trying to rationalize another entity as one of God's creations, especially if they too believe they are made in God's image.
So, no, we've never had contact with an alien race. We've never been visited, and they certainly wouldn't give a flying rip about our petty nuclear plants or other ‘classic’ technologies. There will never be a pan galactic federation of aligned worlds unless we make it to destroy any other form of life we find.
Flights of fancy are wonderful, but the harsh reality is that it'll never happen in any of our lifetimes and it is questionable if it'll happen anywhere during the span of humanity. Yes, the odds say that life should exist out there. It also says that the chance is over billions of years and depending upon who you consult, humanity has been around for the smallest of fractions of that time.
Secondly inertia is a fundamental property of all matter, the way these objects move defies the laws of physics, so either they exist in a higher dimension and their bizarre movements are just how we see them in a lower dimension, or they are not matter.
The only thing that makes me question UFOs is the impossible (for us) travel times to the nearest foreign planets, given the mind-numbing distances involved.
Look at it from the other perspective ... If we could travel to neighboring stars in hours or days instead of centuries and millenia, our ships would be UFOs in their skies.
Do we go Down this Rabbit Hole every Century. Last century it didn’t happen until the 1930s, seems to be a bit earlier this century. Trump won the Grand Prize so anything can happen. Winning.................. MAGA.
I say it’s the North Koreans. We should just wipe out North Korea before the UFOs do damage. If they’re still around, then maybe it’s the Iranians and we should just wipe out Iran. If they’re still around,... sooner or later we’ll run out of hostiles behind the UFOs. Hey, it’s a plan to deal with it.
There’s also the possibility we were seeded here and they are just doing “checkups” on their science experiment.
Merry Christmas, dpa622.
Keep Staten Island under control tonite.;-)
