OK for the sake of this post, I could give a rat's ass what anyone thinks about the NFL right now. However, never has any of my Viking players ever taken a knee during the national anthem in support of this stupid' "I demand To Be Noticed For My racist belief". So, that being said, I have also nit watched any games nor sports shows about the NFL. The only games I watch are my Viking games. I have the NFL Ticket. I TIVO my game and fast forward all the commercials and even skip the half time. I could not even tell you who else won or loss.
That being said, I am feeling GREAT today that the dreaded Packers are feeling my PAIN!
Look, my team has lost two QB's and two RB's in the last two years, and to hear Troy Atman say that the Green Bay Packer's have been hit the hardest by loosing Rodgers, I want to puke!
Mind you, Aaron Rodgers grew up in the town I have live in for the last 29 years, Chico California. Aaron even graduated from the same High School my nephew graduated from, Pleasant Valley High School. AS and aside, the team mascot for Pleasant Valley, is a Viking. seriously. However since the Packers drafted him, I feel like I have been living in Green Bay Wisconsin. For a Viking Fan who grew up in Duluth Minnesota, that's like living NFL HELL!

All but my Viking games.
I have been boycotting movies for 20 years. television, accept Fox news for 16 years, and I have not purchased a music CD for over 10 years.
I have not gone to a concert in 40 years.
I haven’t purchased a fast food burger for over 15, and have not gone to a restaurant in over 10.
The only sport I have watched in over 10 years is my Minnesota Viking football games. I hove not watched any baseball, basketball, hockey, Olympics, boxing, or any other sport for over 10 years. I stopped all my magazine subscriptions but the Limbaugh letter over 12 years ago.
Tell me you can match my record. Then I will give up my Vikings.
Go ahead.
My boycott has lasted a lot longer than yours, yet when was the last time yo went to a Movie? Watched one on TV? Watched a television show other than Fox news? Watched a baseball game? basketball game? Went to a concert, purchased a music CD?
Don’t you dare give me shit! My boycott has lasted a lot friggin longer than you even dare to boycott anything.
I didn’t think you would challenge my record.
Stop accusing others of not doing what you will not even do.
Actually, you have it backwards.
When I say, I "won't watch" something, I actually DO IT.
When Jon Stewart replaced Craig Kilborn on The Daily Show back in 2000, I (who had been a hardcore fan and never missed an episode prior to that time), stated flat out that I would not watch The Daily Show again until Stewart left.
The next time I watched an episode of The Daily Show was in Sept. 2015. The first episode AFTER Stewart left.
But when football fans announce they "won't watch" NFL games anymore and are "done" with the NFL, I get subjected to endless "updates" about their favorite team a week later, blowing up all over social media as they taunt the other team and heap praise on their overpaid spoiled rotten million players on "their" team.
Yawn.
Believe it or not, some of us conservatives actually enjoy sports.
Again. when did I say i would nit watch football?????????
I never did!!
Now apologize for telling a lie!
Believe it or not, I'd estimate about 90% of the conservatives who say they are "done" with the NFL and "won't be watching anymore" will eagerly tune into this year's Superbowl.
Your carbon footprint is destroying mother earth!!!
Oh sorry, wrong thread. ;)
So you are not observing the NFL boycott?
No one is challenging or accusing...Simple sentence with EIGHT WORDS asking a simple question.
All but my Viking games.

Perhaps you need a cold beer or something...
I asked you a very simple, direct question. EIGHT words...
I was not giving you shit...so why are you flying off the handle?
I don’t know what you have done regarding movies, or TV or fast food and I don’t care...
And you don’t know what I have done regarding movies, fast food, and tv...
I simply asked if you are boycotting NFL...It is a reasonable question since many here have been discussing what scumbags NFL are and fact that they are not watching...
Apparently:
1. You are not boycotting the NFL games
2. I hit a nerve.
nuff said
So what was the last movie you went to see?
Mine was the passion of Christ, before that it was the Titanic, and only because my wife forced me to take her.
By the way, I have not watched any other football games other than my Vikings since kaepernick began taking a knee.
To paraphrase a former POTUS: “It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘done’ is.”.
AFAIC, every Nubian Phootball League game should end in a 0-0 tie.
Pleasant Valley High School? I remember a song about Pleasant Valley (”Another Pleasant Valley Sunday...”) but don’t remember any reference to the high school in the song.
Nobody called for a boycott of "movies", so the question is irrelevant. If you wanted to cite something similar to the NFL boycott, numerous conservatives HAVE called for a boycott of the OSCARS, so I will be happy to tell you the last time I watched that. When black activists were whining that the Oscars were "too white" in 2015 and promising to boycott the ceremony, I watched the show to give the middle finger to them. I didn't care for it, and haven't watched since then.
Of course, if movie buffs were to behave like football fans during the NFL "boycott", we could loudly announce on social media that we were "done" with the Oscars and "don't care" about them anymore, then eagerly post minute-by-minute updates on social media about out favorite movies winning Oscars the next week (and diss the movies that didn't win), but claim we're still boycotting the show because we "didn't watch" the parts of the show that focused on movies we'd never watch anyway.
>> I have not watched any other football games other than my Vikings since kaepernick began taking a knee. <<
So in other words, you're "boycotting" by watching your favorite team from your hometown like you always have, but NOT watching other teams from cities nowhere near you that you dislike, have no vested interest in, and never cared for in the first place?
Wow, how impressive. Maybe lifelong Ford owners can "boycott" the automobile industry next by continuing to buy the brand they've always owned, and NOT buying Yugos, Fiats, Rimacs, kodas, Revozs, Mastrettas, Dacias, Tofaş, Mobius Motors, and Kantanka cars.
I live here and would be happy to never see a green and gold anything the rest of my life. I don’t watch football anyway, but the reverence people have for the packers is ridiculous. I imagine I will hear all sorts of whining this week.

No one cares about that garbage.
The legend lives on from old Green Bay on down
Of the pro League they called ‘gotcha commies’
The League, it is said, never reclaims her dead
When American souls get the gloomies
With backbones of iron twenty-six thousand fans left
And once valued Packers seats stayed empty
That lost team knelt rude and the owners were screwed
As true American souls turned stormy
The team was the pride of the American side
Till they spat on our flag in Wisconsin
As the big sports teams go, it was bigger than most
With a team and quarterback well seasoned
Colluding with thugs and with racists on drugs
When they linked arms with Bears from Chicago
Later that night no one saw how they did
Could the Tree of Liberty need water?
That is who they are pushing already!
Not judging friend. Many of us hate the NFL.
Well said, Billy Boy.
Know who the Vichy are and ignore them and their blather.
