"Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode in Halloween Movie, coming to theaters October 19, 2018," Universal Studios Entertainment said on its Facebook page Friday.
No other details about the project were immediately released, but the post did include a photo of Curtis standing outside a house with white-masked, serial killer Michael Myers in the doorway behind her, holding a knife. A jack o'lantern is on the porch by her feet.
Laurie appears in six of the existing 10 Halloween movies. Curtis played the role in four installments from 1978 to 2002 and Scout Taylor-Compton portrayed the character in two re-boot features released 2007-09.

That’s what happens when you type what you’re thinking and not thinking what you should be typing. I think they wanted us to call the movie h-twenty but everybody I know refers to is as h 2 oh, it rings nicer.

Saw her on the Tonight Show exhibiting BDS after the 2000 election. She started with one word, “Republicans” in a tone of complete disgust. I can’t remember the rest of it but I thought they were going to have to cart her off in a straight jacket.

JLC looks a lot like Melissa McBride (Carol) from the Walking Dead. Actually the other way around as JLC is six years the senior of Melissa.
Best Halloween movie was Halloween II with Pamela Shoop hot tub scene.....
