The guy who helped President Donald Trump write his seminal book, The Art of the Deal, said the former reality-TV star will soon leave the White House on his own accord.
In a series of tweets Wednesday, Tony Schwartz—who co-authored the 1987 book that helped define the real estate magnate's public image—said he thought the walls were closing in on Trump and he would soon leave office in an attempt to save face.
Every tweet Schwartz sent Wednesday was about Trump. "Think of Trump as a toddler w/reactive attachment disorder, and therefore in a permanent virulent tantrum. His development ended at age 7," he posted. He later added, "Remember that every time Trump criticizes and demeans someone he is projecting his deep sense of inadequacy & self-hatred onto others."
Later, he wrote in a series of three tweets that Trump's end would come before the year was out. "The circle is closing at blinding speed. Trump is going to resign and declare victory before Mueller and congress leave him no choice," Schwartz tweeted. "Trump's presidency is effectively over. Would be amazed if he survives till end of the year. More likely resigns by fall, if not sooner."

I don’t see him as a quitter either. But his wife doesn’t look happy. His youngest doesn’t look happy. Those are the things that could drive him out. Remember—he doesn’t need this crap.
He could be wrong. He could be right. Only time will tell.
B.S. That book is 30 years old . President Trump is not a quitter.
But he and the Left will be disappointed. Trump and the rest of us are here to stay and we are going to win this thing.
This guy co-authored his book and probably was a friend of Trumps at one time.
So many of Trumps ex-”friends” have come out against him saying the worst possible things.
I don’t get it.
Oddly, I pop on to Trump’s twitter feed, and I see him expressing sympathy and support for Spain, touting his achievements for the day, and exposing media and politician lies. What I don’t see is someone who is throwing in the towel.
He knew there would be opposition to his vision of returning the country to the people. And we knew when we voted for him that the opposition is ruthless and brutal.
Well, either way, I’d bet that this guy will never again be invited to co-author a book with Trump.
And knowing Trump, this guy probably just violated some part of their earlier contract.
Maybe he will be paying for this in more than missed opportunity costs.
