I don’t see him as a quitter either. But his wife doesn’t look happy. His youngest doesn’t look happy. Those are the things that could drive him out. Remember—he doesn’t need this crap.

If he resigns he will be harassed by the media and government for the rest of his life. His businesses will be harassed by government agencies and regulators at the local, state, and national level. The elites in every sector of government, journalism, and academia will do everything they can to destroy him.
Gerald Ford’s pardon of Nixon shielded him from most government harassment and saved the nation years of witch hunts by Congress and prosecutors. The Nixon pardon likely cost Ford a second term. Pence, knowing the history, will be reluctant to give Trump a pardon after he resigns. Certainly the powers of the GOP will discourage Pence from doing so.
I’m not saying Trump has committed an offense that requires a pardon. A pardon simply assures he won’t be harassed for the rest of his life by lawyers and prosecutors.
No they are not happy butTrump knows they will hound him forever and ruin his businesses too as they are without honor. Trump is in a battle for his well being.
If the Joint Chiefs and party leaders come to him and tell him he resigns or else, he’ll step down. And I wouldn’t blame him one bit. I just hope he tells the world just how corrupt Washington is and tells his voters the only way to save this nation is through means other than elections. Hint hint.
