Pray and read your Bible every day.
The world is full of people ready to help you if you approach them in the right way.
Funny but as long as you do the first the second follows.

Don’t get married before you’re at least 26... I waited until I was 44.
Get all of your wanderlust out of your system before you get married and start a family...after college I went to live and work in Europe for 7 years.

“When there’s a job to be done, just do it,” said as he rolled up his shirt sleeves and proceeded to do the job himself and we soon followed. Leadership in word and deed.

Remarkable and sobering account on your part. The continuation and preservation of life is what a father’s hand is all about.

“His only rule was that his sons would take one semester of typing in high school.”
That was the class that got me started in my career. Latin, the sciences, all the math classes were OK, but Personal Typing was the most practical.

Once dad was working on a model train engine that he was building. there was an imperfection on the bottom and I asked him why he was trying to fix it, nobody would know.
He said I know, and continued to repair it.
I have been a craftsman ever since, not a crapsman.

Look for the imperfection in a woman: a crooked tooth, freckles, etc...On the right woman, these make her beautiful more than anything else.

Fun to read these. I didn’t grow up with my dad since I was 4. Saw him for the first time at about 29.
