So, it is possible to get your tagline hacked here on FR?
LOL!! I could see how that tagline might vanish. :)
The most I ever "lashed out" at the mods in a tagline (after I had had a post deleted--unfairly, of course!) was:
"Is THIS post acceptable, Admin Maude?!"
Lol, I was bitter about that deleted post for quite a while.
Look what they did to mine many years ago.
No, my tagline is still the same as... Hey, wait a minute...
Only if you're not logged in. Common problem. Solution is to stay logged in all the time and donate lots to the FReepathon.
Lol
Aruba?
Aruba even logged in?
Ah child, debated Mod on deleted posts and the Mods posts were deleted.Listen to the Master. If you say screw Trump before the election your out.If the Mod says you don’t love Jim your in.I will always love Our Jim.
Ahh, but have you taken a shower? You must take a shower and tell us all when you get in and get out.
SHA 256 recently implemented. Change your bookmark to HTTPS rather than HTTP. It is no longer clear text.
Geez, all these years, and it didn't register that the login page was insecure. Of course my FR password is completely unique, but my browser saves it, so I don't see the login page except on the rare occasions when I change to a new device... never thought about it (and ain't that embarrassing...). Thanks, rarestia!
Tom the Son, the one who passes for a bear. The current tagline is a quote from Jonah Goldberg. Tom would agree, though.
Thanks ... I updated my bookmark. :-)
Natalie Holloway threads...Urine Van der Sloot.
Sounds like you have a bad plugin. Ctrl+Alt+A
Click on plugins. Look for anything you do not need. Update any that are updateable. FR does not use anything odd other than google analytics and the whole freakin web uses that. Your problem lies on your machine.
Most likely easy fix: Sign in to Firefox Sync. Wait till it has backed up your settings. Completely uninstall Firefox. Reinstall and sign into sync.
I would be happy to create a new tag line for you!
Each tag line is $20 and proceeds will go to support FR.
I have changed mine by accident by hitting the tab key while typing and typing over it. When the comment doesn’t change I repositioned the curser with the touchpad, and finished, then posted without realizing I changed my tagline.
Wise words, Grasshopper.
*bowing toward fatima* :)
Is it just the login form that is not secure? What causes it to not be secure?
I think what happened is my tagline kicked your taglines arse.
Excellent -- bookmarks to the login page are changed.
However, of necessity, the regular site pages -- including the forum main page "Latest Articles" -- are still using the insecure (HTTP) URL and link refs. So if I click a link to the forum main page, it's an insecure link. Then the question is, during the login negotiation where my browser (which saves my password) is queried by the server, and responds with my (saved) password, is -that- exchange done with SSL encryption. I'm guessing it is NOT.
Same for any URLs to threads that I copy from the address bar and paste into email to a friend.
Any insight?
