President-Elect Donald Trump bought his son’s failed company, foreclosed on the property, and now South Carolina taxpayers are left to clean up the mess he left behind. President-Elect Trump won South Carolina by a little more than 14 points.
In early 2014, a company in Charleston, South Carolina was promising to “revolutionize” home construction, by manufacturing and selling “home construction kits.” First it was called Titan Atlas Manufacturing, later being in reorganized into Titan Atlas Global before shutting down for good in the spring of 2015. Part of this doomed venture was none other than Donald Trump, Jr., who faced millions in debt.
“In addition to Donald Trump Jr., Titan Atlas’ founding investors were Washington state farmer Lee Eickmeyer and Mount Pleasant resident Jeremy Blackburn, who was also CEO of Titan Atlas Global. Each of the three men personally guaranteed a $3.65 million Titan Atlas Manufacturing loan from Deutsche Bank — the loan that the elder Trump’s company later purchased — allowing the bank to pursue the three men together or individually if it were not repaid,” according to a January 2016 report from The Post and Courier. Eickmeyer also personally loaned the company just under $1 million.

Actually, I don’t care about it at all. It’s not on my radar screen given the plethora of other tragedies committed by the Obama Government.
I don’t see any taxpayer money in this deal- all the funding and subsequent “ bail outs” ( typically debt restructuring of failed investments) is reported by private individuals
What is the scandal here?
As far as the property sitting vacant, only “ possible” toxic waste is reported
What “ toxic waste”? Remembering that the EPA has very broad and reaching definitions of “ toxic waste’ - and makes its bones by running clean up funds - are we talking asbestos? Underground tanks? Rainwater runoff?
I see a lot of hype over a private investment among private investors
What exactly is the net loss to the American taxpayer?

I’m sorry, other than making a business deal as a private individual with his own money that had a favorable effect on his son, I did not see any wrong doing or anything unethical. The fact that environmental laws are illogical and stupid is not Trump’s fault, and that the conduct of state and local government is idiotic again is not Trump’s fault.
All of the MSM is ‘fake news’...they don't have anything to write about, so maybe Don Jr. had/has a company, so what? Trump himself didn't make all his ventures profitable and he even admitted it himself...
I have had a business for quite a while, and it isn't easy, prices on product goes up, so I have to charge a little more...sometimes I get so many orders that I have to hire people to help me, that costs money, so you have to charge a little more...
But one thing I have always done, since I read ‘Art of the Deal’ is ‘under budget and ahead of schedule’...you work this in when people come and ask how much this California King Quilt will cost...that way when they come back to pick up the finished product, you tell them it won't be as much as you thought and it is ahead of schedule...they usually give you the price you told them in the first place, so you win both ways...
I don't default anyone that has a business, it's hard work, long hours and word gets out if its a good product and more work for your company...
Coming from this news site, I wouldn't put it past them to write a ‘fake news’ article just because they don't have anything to write about, and why now, why wasn't this talked about during the primaries, Don Jr. must have had/has the business then and did we ever hear about it? No, because it's a good business and the ‘fake news’ didn't have a story, so now they ‘make one up’???
The obsolete media is over, it's on it's way out and how many people listen, read or subscribe to it? Not many...
