If any criticism of trump is sincere and constructive I for one would welcome it if presented in respectful way. The same for Ted Cruz. That god awful primary was god awful. At least that’s behind us and the r n c didn’t have the scandal the d n c did. One thing we should agree on is Hillary is a train wreck.
Hillary was much more polished and got her points through. She was snide but Trump was too repetitive. Trump didn’t nail her very well on the e-mails. I missed some of it but I never heard him say she broke the law. He could have repeated that many times but you can’t repeat yourself so much that you sound like a broken record.
Hillary is dangerous how charming she can be when she wants. She acted much nicer and smooth than I’ve ever seen her and I don’t like it.
I call it a draw. Nobody will change their vote based on those performances.
Hillary came off as a shrill ex-wife. Trump came off a bit too bombastic. Hillary sounded too wonky. Trump wasn’t wonky enough. Trump let her get away with a lot of crap. But then her attempts at piling on seemed nasty. The moderator was clearly in Clinton’s camp, but Donald will use that to his advantage.
Draw.
Bump!!
Why didn’t Trump mention the wall once? It doesn’t help that he’s going to build it when he fails to mention it to the biggest audience he’s ever going to have.
That moderator tried to zing Trump too and it backfired completely.
Everytime she finished talking she turned sideways and had this little toothy grin.....
Reminded me of a squirrel that just finished raiding the bird feeder.....
Trump blew it, he had her rattled but didn’t finish her off.
Donald ran away from the one on one debate with Cruz. He could have used the practice. He was underwhelming to say the least. Droning on about endorsements instead of nailing her about the server in her basement at one point
Now Trump 52% and Hillary 46%
Was Trump a little ill tonight? He seemed like was fighting a cold— we know how irritable that can make one feel and look. But no excuses..
Yep and draw favors Trump because the momentum is on his side. She needed to land punches and she failed, utterly despite everything Holt did to help her. No one’s mind was changed tonight.
When she mentioned his family he should have brought up the foundation; when cybersecurity was brought up he should have brought up the private server (again).
Nor did Trump mention the muslim ban.
His goal was to demonstrate a broad plan that requires stamina and energy — ISIS, getting allies to pay their fair share, trade, better policing, etc.
She did not short circuit. Lied flawlessly.
I did note her flirting to expand the communist goal of American capitulation to atomic war when the first strike question came up. It sure sounded to me that her view was we can even capitulate to Islamists and roque states or tribes brandishing dirty bombs. Her effort to go after the looks sympathy angle came off to me as forced and a desperate plea for a Hail Mary.
Many are overlooking the early references to Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, really the Midwest and coal country as a whole. He hit that nail perfectly, like a 5 mile hole in one. That small part will be “huge.”
Drudge has been shut down by the leftists, Where is my drudge poll. Trump killed her . She was wonky and boring. GO TRUMP!!
Not so. Trump brought up the fact right out of the gate that she used an illegal server to handle her communications as Secretary of State, and went on to ask her why five of her subordinates have pled the 5th Amendment during the investigation.
Don't know how you missed that, but that's how he responded.
They both got shots in; I hope people still don’t believe a thing she says. He is less polished, but that was to be expected.
