What a day Saturday became!
I started my Trump Day about 11 AM decked out in navy blue TRUMP shirt and hat. This was to become a problem!
The booth was set up when I arrived in a large outdoor space directly opposite the main entrance of the gun show.
I did not stay under the canopy because I brought my new life size cut out and a sign, FREE PHOTOS WITH TRUMP!! I immediately knew it was a hit!
Happy people lined up when going in, or out, of the show. Men thumbs up, women hugging, kids looking up to Trump from our step stool, dozens of people with old guns, new “big” ones, and happy smiles as they promised to share their photos with Trump on internet sites and with family.
Within the hour we had a “YUGE” surprise driving toward the show. It was long and high, a moving van painted with a 6X6 foot facial portrait of Trump backed by a 30 foot flowing flag...all sides painted! Where could they put it? Along the front sidewalk? NO the booths there said it blocked them. I went to the window and offered to shrink our booth and pull them into our big area. DONE! Everyone helped and they were soon set up with awning and tables of signs and bumper stickers.
Now we really made an EXCELLENT show stopper! 273 photos were taken, sometimes in multiple “clicks” just to be sure of the perfect one! The American flag in the background!
It was very hot but we had so much fun. The pilot of the Pence plane visited in uniform...more attention!
Time to “fold our tent” for the day. Then I went inside to cool off in the air conditioned auditorium. I guess I did not stay long enough visiting friends who are exhibitors. I went to my car and suddenly people were helping me up from the ground. I had done a skidding forehead dive to make a racing swimmer proud! Was the navy outfit the problem or lack of food and water?
People were wonderful and soon I was in an ambulance on the way one block to the hospital with my backpack on my lap.
Now this gets INTERESTING! My pistol was in that backpack and no one noticed until inside the hospital. I was surely not thinking clearly at that time. while they started to care for me I saw about 10 guards and police try to figure out what to do and how did their security fail!
The gun was “Brown Bagged” in a security area until family came and they were escorted out to their car to remove it from the area! The entire staff knew about the gun tote’n granny in the cardiac unit!
Freepers, you would be so proud of this 80 year old woman who after a brain scan only asked, “Did you find one in there?” After chest X-rays and other fancy tests I asked similar silly questions and made everyone laugh. Yes, I have a heart too!
I am fine. Finally they let me go with the remark, “we have never released a patient before with no prescriptions, no recommendations or restrictions”...I believe the DR. actually said “CARRY ON” as he turned away. That is what this Trump soldier will do after a days rest to satisfy family and friends who care about me.
Thank You to all who sought a helping hand in my recovery. I will be forever grateful. I love you.
I have so many FRiends on Free Republic and I plan to see and thank you individually at the TRUMP Inaugural Ball!
Bravo Joy!

What a gal!!! Just wow!!! You drink your water small sips at a time all day long...
Take care. You did so well!
LOLOLOL! Thanks for letting us know what happened and the docs found you in such good health that you were just told to “Carry on!” Good that it is only scrapes and bruises. They heal just fine on their own.
But the LOLOL is for your gun!! Can you imagine them finding it in a sweet little lady’s things!!!
Now -— lesson learned?? Are you going to carry AND drink water?? Are you going to have some ‘power bars’ with you?
Carry on girl! Trump needs a FReeper like you!
Thank you for the update. What an amazing story. I am SOOOO thankful you are A-OK and that it was nothing serious (which very easily could have been, young lady :)
What an inspiration, as well.
Eternal vigilance, for the cause!!
(Saw Dinesh D’Souza’s Hillary’s America, tonight...and that line is from from history...and is in the movie.)
I cannot wait for the Trump Inaugural Ball, to see you in person :)

I almost had the same thing happen to me one time. We were deer hunting in northern Mexico and I got very over heated and weak. Made it back to the truck and when I looked at myself in the mirror, my face was a shade of purple I had never seen before.
There was no ambulance near or cell phone, I would have been toast.
Speechless with LOLs @ post 91!
Well done, 3D-JOY!
Thank you, 3D-Joy, for all you do! You are a trooper! Thank God you are OK and may HE continue to bless and protect you!
What a great day. Sorry it was marred by the problem, but I’m sure glad you are okay.
Wow, I love what you set up and did during the day. Very cool...

Taxman Bravo Zulu, 3D-JOY!
