Here's an interesting exchange between NBC News and former Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz that happened just now:
NBC: Donald Trump's remarks about Judge Curiel, are his concerns legitimate?
Cruz: Of course it's inappropriate to be attacking a federal judge's race or ethnicity. You're going to have ask Donald to explain the reason he says the things he does. I'm not going to try to do so.
NBC: Ben Sasse said that what Donald Trump said about the judge is pure definition of racism. Is Donald Trump a racist?
Cruz: As I said, it is obviously inappropriate to attack a judge's race or ethnicity. Beyond that, you're going to have to ask Donald.
NBC: (As Cruz walks away): Last question Senator, can you fathom though still at this point supporting Donald Trump in November?
(No response -- goes into office)

How's he doing with that?
Look, I'm rooting for Trump --- if for no other reason to avoid the unmitigated disaster of a Hillary administration.
I shrugged off a lot of Trump's bombastic shots, and even posted a few articles that pointed out how persuasive they can be.
But, I cringed at this one, because I knew that the enemedia would grab it and run with it.
Cruz has become a Grade-A douche nozzle.
This is dumb since the other poster refuted your original point, and you just moved on to criticizing Trump for not explaining what La Raza is.
No, Cruz knows these things.
The answer is simpler—he’s GOPe, through and through . . . And not just a little jealous.
When they run with it, they own it.
Is the judge in question affiliated with La Raza? That is what everyone should be concentrating on.
It will happen.
Look, we are fellow Freepers here, and, I assume we have much in common. We just look at this situation differently, I guess. I just refuse to buy into the ‘narritive’. Trump is getting screwed over, and I don’t think he should just roll over to avoid controversy. In fact, attacking this ‘head-on’ is refreshing. La Raza has operating under the radar. They are not part of any America that I know. If it helps to expose them, then, again, Trump is spot on. I trust his instincts.
Cruz and Biden have serious women issues.
Consider the source, and then consider the source...
[Waiting for the lingering Cruz supporters to arrive and defend Cruz in 3 ... 2 ...]
It’s time for CRUZ to butt out. The campaign is over.
If Trump attacks Hillary because she is a woman, he is going to deserve the blow-back he gets. I think he knows better than that.
If Trump attacks Obama because he is black, he might as well pack up and go home.
There are many reasons to attack both: Obama's administration is a target-rich environment -- illegal immigration, Obamacare, EPA.... I could go on and on.
Hillary has a long history of bad behavior, with verifiable facts. She has zero accomplishments of any note.... as Senator, she passed hardly any legislation, and the Middle East is a disaster after her tenure at State. And there's that criminal investigation.....
Those are examples of specific things they have done, and/or screwed up. There will be many that will say: oh, Trump's attacking her because she's a woman, or Obama because he's black. But, they are just bleating like sheep unless Trump actually says that.
If a man is wrong, like Curiel, he is wrong. Sex, color, ethnicity, sexual orientation be damned.
Then, why didn't Trump say WHY Curiel is biased against him? He's a member of an association that advocates for illegal aliens, and it's affiliated with another that is actively protesting against Trump.
Those are verifiable charges. But instead, Trump complained about his "Mexican heritage", and made it about ethnicity. The reference to a "Latino lawyer association" got lost in the noise.
If you knew a Judge was a member of the KKK and you were a black defendant ...... do you think that black person should be concerned about getting a fair trial?

Every so called leader in California is scared to death of facing La Raza thugs in power and on the streets.
The new police chief of San Jose is a La Raza thug wearing blue.
Trump is again daring to start a discussion where liberals don’t want a discussion held.
You mean a Principally Correct Conservative.
Did we ever find out if his dad knew Oswald?
Pray America wakes
You are buying what the MSM is selling. Ok, it’s your money.
You have two choices, lose graciously or win ugly. This is winning while you prefer the former.
He continues to disappoint.
He reached his pinnacle of greatness when reading Green Eggs and Ham, it’s been downhill since then.
I think there is something very telling about this whole episode. In one sense, all the politicians say that Trump is alienating all of the Hispanics because of how he discusses border security and the like. In another sense we’re told that a Hispanic or a judge of Mexican Heritage isn’t necessarily against Trump because of what he’s said. What does all this media attention do then? It tells all the Hispanics, in repetition, that you don’t have to be against Trump if you’re Hispanic. People being the followers that they are this will create an understanding to Hispanics that supporting Trump is OK if you’re Hispanic. If I’m right, he has just done a pretty big ad buy
BOL!
LaRaza Lawyers not layers. Maybe you could post lying La Raza Lawyer.
