Here's an interesting exchange between NBC News and former Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz that happened just now:
NBC: Donald Trump's remarks about Judge Curiel, are his concerns legitimate?
Cruz: Of course it's inappropriate to be attacking a federal judge's race or ethnicity. You're going to have ask Donald to explain the reason he says the things he does. I'm not going to try to do so.
NBC: Ben Sasse said that what Donald Trump said about the judge is pure definition of racism. Is Donald Trump a racist?
Cruz: As I said, it is obviously inappropriate to attack a judge's race or ethnicity. Beyond that, you're going to have to ask Donald.
NBC: (As Cruz walks away): Last question Senator, can you fathom though still at this point supporting Donald Trump in November?
(No response -- goes into office)

But it is appropriate for a judge to be a member of a racist organization, I guess.

Waiting for the lingering Cruz supporters to arrive and defend Cruz in 3 ... 2 ...
La Raza is the pure definition of racism, Ben Asse.
And this was the jackass some people here thought was actually ordained by God to be president?
The Left attack the race of cops i. general and whites in general in any capicity that whites function...WHY THE HELL NOT JUDGES?
Thank goodness this guy lost the nomination!
But it’s appropriate to say that Cruz would have won the Hispanic vote because he happens to be Hispanic, but suggesting ethnic bias in any other context is a no go. These pricks make me sick.
Meanwhile, in the real world, 9 out of 10 Hispanics in the legal profession is likely to be a member of La Raza or some Hispanic coalition.
That logic is why the Cuban lost.
Cruz to NBC: Trump ‘Inappropriate to Attack a Judge’s Race or Ethnicity’
...
Trump is attacking his bias, nothing else, but I’m not surprised to see Crazy Lying Ted get it wrong.
Thank goodness this guy lost the nomination!
**************
At least that is correct but Cruz is still likely to stir the pot at the convention
over platform, rules, etc.
It’s inappropriate to sign a pledge and not endorse the nominee.
This is the reason I am not a Republican any longer - the party of full of this type of wimp that are happy to be politically correct and turn the country over to invaders by letting anti-white racism have a free reign. The Republicans can’t fight and won’t stand up to ANYTHING...there is no demagoguery that will not work with them. If it wasn’t for Trump, I’d never ever cast another vote for a Republican for as long as I live. If Trump wins out over these Americans-in-French clothing and puts a backbone into the party, I will rejoin.
Unfortunately, Trump didn't say that about the judge. That's why Cruz, Rubio, and Gingrich are all lining up against him.
The Cuban/Canadian twerp sounds off.
Mexican is not a race. There are white Mexicans, black Mexicans, brown Mexicans, even Chinese Mexicans.
Rafael should crawl back under the rock he’s been for the past month.
You lost, Ted—Go away.
Trump did not attack the judge's ethnicity or nationality, just his bias and corruption (stated or not).
Cruz is a putz, and getting worse with each public statement.
