The gorilla was 17 years old. So, the cops killed another unarmed black teen.
I know this sounds terrible but the kid looked in the gorilla’s face as if to say “Is that you, Uncle Willie?”
It doesn’t seem like a four-year-old could climb over a five-foot fence without some help.
My husband and I went to the Cincinnati Zoo for Mother’s Day. I would not consider taking my 6 year old grandson. Escape and climbing are his specialties.
Before anyone blames my son or DIL they better know all the story.
I’m sure there are things we don’t know about the child and parents and why the kid might have managed to get away so fast.
See pics of the very obese mother. She couldn’t catch anything that moved.
That picture isn’t entirely accurate. The media would use one where the gorilla was far from fully grown.
No comment. LMAO.
you don’t know enough 4 year olds.
Or somebody took a few random tweets as an indication that there was major BLM agitation about this.
Nowadays, you can find somebody somewhere tweeting just about everything. Where's the indication that it was political and not just marginals who are always tweeting something stupid?
As far as I can tell black kids are the worst behaved at every age and most people will agree with that.
Since Facebook and Twitter have declared that they are going to censor offensive language wouldn’t all this white privilege talk fall under that? Or are they going to check the race of the poster by using these little built in cameras first? (Big brother’s little brother is watching)
Getting the TRUTH out there is NOT “stooping” to a level.
Gorilla grabbed the kid by one leg & dragged him like a
pull toy, real fast up & down the water. Sad; but could
have gone real bad, real fast for the kid. - Guess the
mother spent considerable time on her cellphone today
running her mouth.
No, it was more pathetic than that.
The original hissyfit was over the "racist" killing of the gorilla, for endangering a "white" child.
Pavlov would have a field day with these knee-jerk black-lies-matter types...
Little kids can just get away from you quick. That’s why
you have to watch them. - However, any extra fail-safes
the zoo needs to add; let them get with it pronto!
I’m just thankful that there was someone in charge at the
zoo that was a good shot & able to dispatch the animal with
the least amount of cruelty.
Apparently, a 5 foot high fence. Maybe the male gang member put him up there, and then was distracted by his obamaphone with a drug deal.
Me to Twinkie.
My GS has autism and he will never get to go to any place like the zoo.
I saw a child at the zoo on Mother’s Day that appeared to have autism but was to young to escape. The child was annoying everyone but my husband and me. We understand what it is like for the child and the parents.
I also saw another very young child get away from her parents. I went and stood with her until her parents found her.
Kids do manage to get away even with the best intentions of the parents/grandparents.
There have been quite a few gorillas, in captivity, who have adopted kittens, puppies, or, in the females' cases, other gorillas' babies, when the mother has shunned them. They have all treated their "pets" with care, kindness, and gentleness; you could even say "love".
Unlike lions, gorillas don't kill other gorilla's offspring, though usually, there is only one adult, silver back male to a group.
I'll really have to ask the kiddo about all of this.
The 4 year old child has a slight concussion and some scratches from when he fell; that’s it. Now YOU tell me that the gorilla “harmed” the boy and where.
Yeah. Look for the mega lawsuit to follow.
