No he wasn't there and he evidently has quite a few other children.

Sadly, you are correct about the zoo being sued by the less intelligent than that gorilla parents of that child.

God created all children in his image.

They did the right thing in saving his life.

My kiddo IS an "expert" in primate behavior and whilst this beautiful animal showed NO signs, none at all ( he didn't exhibit any of the signs of anger nor "fight" behavior )

Perhaps, but he was dragging that kid around by his ankle through the water and if it had been my kid, I'd have shot the gorilla myself before anyone could have dialed 9-1-1.

Exactly so; that child had to get through several iron fences and climb a wall...all at the age of 4!

The gorillas in that enclosure are better parents than the human ones!

But I feel that the child was in no danger from the gorilla.

It appeared the ape was not trying to harm the child.

HOWEVER, the ape was dragging the child through the water, over the rocks, at a speed that was very dangerous. He could easily have pulled the child's arm completely off.

We can point blame for 'how' the child got in and 'who' is responsible all we want, but the bottom line was that a child was in danger from an unpredictable animal and the zoo staff made the right choice.

Not really. Doesn’t a parent have some responsibility for their child?

apparently, a 5 foot high fence. Maybe the mother put him up there then was distracted by her obamaphone.

Two times, (in the videos I’ve seen), the ape dragged the little boy by one arm, at a speed faster than a human can run. I’m surprised the child’s arm is still attached.

No, the gorillas had taken the child's HAND! It looked to me as though he was trying to get the kid out of the water.

I have taken my kiddo and Grand to zoos countless times and there is NO BLEEDING WAY, that either would be out of my sight, nor away from me! And yes, the primates were my kiddo's favorite, which how the double degree came about; I suspect.

Thanks for the info. As I said to another poster here I did a bit of research on gorillas and found that overall, even in the wild they are not an outwardly violent or aggressive animal and often they takes pains to avoid contact even with others of their kind. The males do that by elaborate threat displays, false charging attacks and vocalizations and will use violence only as a last resort. In the case of humans they much prefer flight to fight.

Also, that gorilla wasn't harming the boy

You let an ape drag you by one arm, through the water, over the rocks, at the fastest speed most humans can run, and then you can tell me the ape isn't 'harming' you. (If your arm is still attached and you are alive).

Having seen tons of white and Hispanic misbehaving kids I don’t agree. If anything black children are better behaved at that age when their mamas can still exert control over them ... IME.

If we are going to generalize, in my experience the spectrum goes Asian, Black, White, Hispanic with Hispanic kids being the worst behaved overall .... at this young age.

So we should stoop to the level of that scum? .....Absolutely not. We should stand up to the scum, mock them, point out that they are lying Marxists and prosecute them at any chance we get. Does that upset you?

As per your name do you feel the child was in danger? That is do you feel the gorilla intended, by some malice or display of dominance to hurt or kill the child?

Were the zoo keepers who shot the Gorilla white or brown or red or green or environmentalists or vegans or???

They are the ones who shot the Gorilla. They are the ones with the privilege.
