Chicago, Trump’s Incitements, and Cruz’s Response

It is ludicrous to argue that, because the hard Left is primarily responsible for the outbreak of chaos and violence that caused Donald Trump’s Chicago rally to be canceled last night, it is wrong to condemn the thuggery Trump often encourages at his appearances. Trump has encouraged physical battery at his campaign events, even telling supporters he’d pay their legal fees if they get arrested for assaulting dissenters. (See, e.g., Iowa event: ”So if you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of ‘em, would you? Seriously. Okay? Just knock the hell — I promise you, I will pay for the legal fees. I promise. I promise”; see also Las Vegas event: regarding an unruly protester removed by security, Trump tells crowd, “I’d like to punch him in the face. He’s smiling, having a good time.”) Trump has continued to fan these flames even after it has become obvious that some of his supporters are acting on the invitation to resort to violence. Incitement to violence is a crime; incitement to violence at a large rally is incitement to riot — a crime that can get people badly injured or even killed.

to all the people with the wrong outrage: If Ted said he could shoot some one in the face, would you come back? If Ted said he'd punch you in the face, would you come back? If Ted spoke like this, and people started to take him up on it, to react to Teds campaign the eay they react to Trumps campaign, will you come back? This outrage at by leftists at Trumps rallies, led by leftists, does not take away what Ted said: If you call for violence, and you get violence, ..you just got treated the same way you yourself and your suckerpunching supporters act. Trump has 100 bad things for every single Cruz fault, stop following the media narrative here, Trumps language, his crowds violence against demonstrators is why they chose Trumps rallies to act out in. These leftists don't do this at Cruz rallies, think about why!! It is simple psychology here, if I lead a rally where I brag about beating people up, hitting people, tell the crowd to cause violence upon others, why be surprised that my next rally has violence against us? If a BLM rally called for shooting white people, and the white people attacked the next BLM rally, are you going to blame the white people and not the BLM movement for stirring the pot?? What a crazy logic people are using against Ted Cruz! know what else? I fully realize that BLM doesnt need a reason to riot, they just need an excuse, Donald gave them one, one that Ted Cruz doesnt give when he speaks.

Why didn't Cruz say that NO ONE has the right to go to a venue where folks are exercising their first amendment rights with the purpose of disrupting it? Trump is telling his supporters not to let the disruptors take away those rights and to defend themselves.

Why didn't Cruz speak those condemnations against Black Lives Matter when they were burning Ferguson and Baltimore? People in the real world are quite fed up that the likes of BLM and LaRaza are enabled to run amuck, while we're supposed to hide and pander.

The line about shooting someone was said ABOUT Trump by an anti Trump person. Trump merely referenced it and laughed about it.
