Fans of the iPhone and the iPad have long seen the late Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple, as a messianic figure, whose drive and vision turned computers from clunky business machines into the epitome of cool.
Danny Boyle's new biopic, starring Michael Fassbender and Kate Winslet, will further burnish his remarkable reputation when it premiers next month. But one woman has a different and more traumatic view: Jobs's high school sweetheart Chrisann Brennan.
She lived with Jobs and was an early Apple employee, only for the relationship to fall apart amid wild recriminations when she became pregnant with his first child.
According to Brennan, played in the film by Katherine Waterstone, Jobs who died in 2011 became a threatening monster in real life.
He denied he was the father, despite a positive paternity test. He paid a pittance in child support, while living the life of a millionaire. And one of the towering figures of the age even stooped to spreading lies that she had been unfaithful...

Be hard pressed to name a CEO at that level who was not an AS***LE.
Typical leftist. Jobs didn’t care about others at all.
If you want on or off the Mac Ping List, Freepmail me.
There was no such thing as a "positive paternity test" back when he took the first one, only a negative one.
IIRC when the DNA came out it was confirmed that he was the father and he ceased saying that he was not.
I have never owned a single Apple product nor intend to. There’s something evil about the company. Probably a telecomm thing.

I’ve worked for some managers that could be described as cold, ruthless and obsessive. So long as they aren’t dishonest or manipulative it’s manageable but not too pleasant.
Jobs was a special kind of asshole.. Even among C level execs
I don't care for their computers but the Ipod is a nice item.
The biggest problem with it is that I have to hack it to transfer my songs on the Ipod to my computer.
Annoying!
But other then that trouble free.
“New Steve Jobs biopic”
Another one??
So soon???
Have they started shooting the remake of “Pixels” yet? After all, it’s been WEEKS since that old classic was released!
I have two iPads because they were given to me. Likewise two iPods. However, I have never bought Apple and don't intend to. When I needed a new phone recently, i got a Samsung Galaxy S4. I don't hate Apple. I'm just not a fanboy. My PCs have always been Windows.
I have a dead ipod (likely battery). Please point to details of hack to save/transfer content.
He started multiple companies with little government assistance at all. He has changed the life of millions through commercially developed innovation. He never had a government job. What makes him a leftist?
Easy way to figure someone out: watch how they treat service people like waiters & waitresses.
The causes he supported.
Such as?
Wozniak himself came across as if he may still be having some effects from his plane crash. Wozniak certainly created the Apple II himself, which made Apple successful. But ultimately Jobs seems to have had more drive and vision.
If you have Linux I have never done that so I can not say for sure.

So true. I could care less how he was in business or even personal life. He is one of the biggest contributors to the World. He is a historical figure and most of them are not exactly loved.
