TV Land is getting SLAMMED for pulling the Dukes!
It is amazing to see good people mobilize and give TV Land the criticism deserves.
They will lose money over this.. and it's well deserved.
When you go against your customers, like Mcdonalds did, prepare to lose millions and millions of dollars.
Couldn't have happened to a more deserving network.

I’m looking at the first comment. Did they run off Andy Griffith and Barney Fife too?

Most of my TV viewing is on DVD: Andy Griffith Show,The Rifleman,MacGyver,Combat!,etc.,etc. I call it WhatWEwant to watch channel. I gave up on TV Land and its nausea inducing line-up long ago.

Todays show would be called “The Dykes of Hazard” featuring an interracial Lesbian couple driving a pink Prius with the Fag pride flag on the roof. Their nemesis would be the evil local priest.

the lesson is this. cut the cable cord, or you're not actually making a difference. 100% right. Why finance our enemies?
To: ConservativeMan55
One tv station I see when flipping through the has some show called Empty Nest that is playing all the time now. Stupid, stupid show. I watched about 2 min of it, not remembering it when it first aired. I just couldn’t understand how such an idiotic show had any money thrown at it.

Stopped watching TVLAND long ago when they started bringing in all these skanky programs with lose women and whatnot. Saved me the trouble of having to boycott them now.
To: ConservativeMan55
I don't imagine it'll be too painful, they'll still get their monthly stipend from the cable providers.
Bring on à la carte!

“Thank goodness for YouTube and torrents.”
Yup. You can watch ANY TV show on the web if you type the correct “magic words” and torrent is a blessing. Of course as a producer here in L.A. I shouldn’t say that LOL then again try getting the complete Equalizer series on DVD WITH the original Stewart Copeland music. They’re only available on torrent..

I recommend cutting your cable and getting a TV antenna. Don’t send the blood suckers any of your money.

My wife still likes their McWraps but recently I just mooch french fries, and no longer since finding they taste like fried styrofoam.
My dog likes their 69 cent cheeseburgers.
I’m thinking it looks like a Chick Filet walk-in, McRoo meat drive-through night.

FWIW, I just purchased the two-movie set of Dukes of Hazard and Season 1 at Amazon. A two-for-one statement.
It's probably my last purchase from Amazon. Why would I choose what I read, listen to, and see from a corporation that practices censorship?

Turner Classic Movies or baseball. Some of the old movies are not PC. I could give up all of teevee, personally. Wife is addicted to SyFy and other drek. Cable comes in for internet, so we get the basic drek package on top of that.
