Donald Trump, exploring a run for president in 2016, is now starring in radio ads across the country that criticize President Obama and the Republicans who support his desire for fast track authority to negotiate the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal.

--

I compliment Donald Trump and strongly support him in this.

If he continues on, I might very well strongly support him in his possible bid for the Presidency.

NOBODY else is standing up for Americans.

Speak up Trump. I strongly support you in this.

--

“While I’m a Republican, right now, some in the Republican Party are working overtime to hand more power to President Obama,” Trump says in the ad. “These same people are turning their backs on the American workers and businesses. It’s unbelievable.”

Donald Trump is completely right about this, and he is the ONLY political figure anywhere, in either political party right now, who is saying America needs to build up America.

There is nobody else. No other Republicans are saying this. No democrat candidates are saying this. Everyone is all on the same globalist milktrain.

Donald Trump you are 100%, completely, CORRECT.

If you continue to say this, and nobody else is willing to stand up for American workers, I am 100% ready to support you in 2016 for President.

I understand Donald Trump is not a perfect candidate, but he is completely perfect, on the issue of getting Americans back to work.

Enough outsourcing. Just ... enough.

Donald Trump is not a perfect candidate but he "is who he is". His candor is necessary in the nomination process, to keep constitutional conservatives focused.

I wouldn't mind a Trump presidency.

I like trade deals. I especially like bilateral trade deals.

The other Republican candidates are using their time to weigh in on attending gay weddings, Bruce Jenner’s gender change, how much sympathy they have for illegals, etc.

And, of course, Trump is socially conservative, right?

I’ve seen Trump in interviews over the years and I have never heard him express liberal views.

You are right he does not express Liberal views. Its just that some on FR are so far to the right that nobody is conservative enough.

I was a little put off by Donald’s remarks concerning the cartoon contest but he does a lot of business in the Mideast so I’m not real surprised. Maybe he just thinks its kind of juvenile. Whatever. He is pretty firm about how he would deal with the Arabs in all of his interviews. I’m mostly concerned with his plans to rebuild this country and he is pretty tough on the border issue.

I’m solidly behind Ted Cruz but barring that Trump is my second choice. IMO the only two likely candidates for President with the force of personality to actually effect change in this country are Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.

I cannot give you any links, but my impression of him over the years — but not during the times he has hinted at running for president — that he is a libertine.

Remember when GHW Bush made his "voodoo economics" statement while campaigning in the primary, then was selected as Ronald Reagan's running mate, then denied having made the "voodoo economics" statement, then was caught, and just said, "darn it"? Until recently I'd imagined that Trump would make an ideal VP, since he's a publicity sponge and would say and do anything, drawing fire from the top of the ticket during campaigns, and from the POTUS while in office. Well, those days are behind me.

Trump has to be a man of discipline to accomplish what he has; he doesn’t look his age, and he has a sharp mind. Classical libertines don’t fit that mold.

I have known of more than one man who was successful and also a skirt chaser. Don’t have the links, but I seem to recall that Trump has run around on more than one wife.
