YouTuber Tim Linton, who had just installed a dash-cam on his vehicle the previous day, captured the incident on film.
From what we understand, it all started at the 35-second mark when the fifth-gen Camaro driver tried to squeeze in front of the truck from the right lane. Instead of just slowing down, the pickup accelerated and the two drivers started bickering on the road.
The Camaro driver tailgated the pickup, and the pickup driver responded by riding right next to the large truck on the right hand side blocking the other motorist's way. Moments later, the Chevy driver tried to overtake the pickup from the left shoulder but he / she lost control and the pickup crashed into it leading all three vehicles off the road.

There's no need to swallow pride to let speeders by if one assumes the speeder has a desperately good reason for needing to pass.
Heaping coals on their heads eh? Proverbs 25:21-22
Probably the wise thing to do these days on the interstates of death in America.
Camaro driver wasn’t the only idiot in this video. I see three cars hogging the left lane. Pickup driver purposely blocked Camaro driver as he tried to merge, then blocked him next to the big rig. Big rig driver apparently tried to slow down to stop that, but pick up driver slowed too.
3 idiots, one innocent big rig driver. I hope he beat the crap out of them after they all pulled over.
Signal begging. I like that.
I deal with morons who turn their signal on even before they look to see if the lane is open and clear.
It isn’t. I’m in that lane and am overtaking and passing them. Do I have the obligation to slow down and let them in? Nope.
I once pulled out in front of a guy (my bad driving) to which I received the horn and bird. When we pulled up at a light next to each other I rolled down my window and so did he, expecting a fight. At that point I sincerely apologized for my poor driving. Guy didn't know what to do, just sputtered an "ok no problem" and drove off. Left me feeling not as bad for driving like a fool and him possibly feeling worse for his reaction.
Wise book that Bible.
Nonsense.
Why do you avoid the question where you live?
What you describe would end up in never ending lane changes, over and over and over again.
Cherry - thumbs up plus 1 on your post.
gutsy is precisely right. Most states have laws about this. What do you think the “Left lane for passing only.” or “Slower traffic keep right” signs mean?
And yes, it does mean a lot of lane changes. If you don’t want to ever have to change lanes, stay in the right lane and do about 5mph less than the speed limit. Otherwise, you have the responsibility, and in most states, are legally obligated, to stay out of the left lane except to pass.
Sorry I meant the above comment to go to Rightontheboarder. Sorry for my mistake.
I fish walleye and travel thru Lansing and Detroit to get to the Detroit river. When I haul my boat I stay one lane over if three lanes or more because the jackasses won’t give room to allow for merging traffic.
Jerks pass in a hurry then try to cut in front of me and spike their brakes to keep from rear ending vehicles in front of me. I am hauling 6,000 lbs. On a trailer. I can’t stop on a dime.
One of these days a S.U.V. mom or sport car middle aged guy is gonna go for a ride on my front bumper.
Dashcam driver at fault too, for boxing in the camaro and increasing the overall tension and level of danger. Four dangerous jerks that deserved to find each other.
That does not excuse him cutting in front of the truck when there was no room to do so.
Just because a clown signals does not entitle him to cause an accident if the other driver does not try to avoid an accident.
I see too many folks with that arrogant attitude. "I know those other people will just get out of my way", they seem to signal.
I vote death penalty for Camaro driver.
Which brings to mind an observation: the pickup was fitted out as a work truck. I wonder if it belonged to the driver, or to the driver's employer? If the latter, I hope a link to this video finds its way to the right person for review.
looks like everyone but the semi driver got what they had coming.
LOL.
great cartoon.
This is why I always allow asshole drivers to pass me. If they are gone like the wind, they can’t crash into me.
You need drivers training. He is correct. 6 lane highway and 60%of the cars are in the passing lane 30% in the center and almost no one in the right. I am a fast driver. I pay my extra fast driving surcharge. I routinely have to pass on the right of people. 3 miles over the speed limit doesn’t give people the clear to hog the passing lane. Women, old people and homos are always hogging the passing lanes.
I have come to the conclusion that people think the left lane is for above average drivers so they all ride in it. Me and granny are in the right.
i think the pick up was behind a few cars in the left lane all waiting to pass the truck. The camaro tried to squeeze in front of the pu while he was a reasonable distance from the car in front.
Both a-holes. Bummer for the truck driver.
