Now ok, I haven't previously read "Wall Street Parade" and so this might be a total scam, but I sure do not believe the numbers our people have been publishing now for an entire generation.

Where has this Gallup CEO been for the last six years?
I’m guessing he’s under one of two possible influences: 1) he has a new book out and is trying to increase the sales anticipation, or 2) his organization’s reputation and status in the realm of polling has been markedly suffering under decreased paying customer demand for its services.
Either way, what he’s ‘revealing’ isn’t new news - we’ve been discussing all this here for the last 6 years.
He is NOT going to ‘disappear’. Democrats may play rough, but they do not “off” people that disagree with them.
(but if I were him, I would now make a point of checking my brake lines before getting in the car after work...accidents do happen)
But polls define reality in the mass mind. Discussing here doesn’t.
Where has he been the last 6 years? He might have been talking, but the Neo Stalinist Media Megalopoly is suddenly developing Hillary “conscience”, so he’s now on the radar. It isn’t “news” unless the press gatekeepers say it is.
Will that do any good? It seems they give the majority, if not all, of the jobs currently remaining here to non Americans anyway.
I guess the real story here is the fact that the Federal Government really is being run by gangsters, and yet so many Americans remain clueless. Can you imagine a CEO making this kind of statement even 10 years ago?
Then the bottom line is revenue and viability. Here, Gallup has to have customers willing to pay for their findings. IOW, they (Gallup) HAS to get money from somewhere. He either gets it by telling truths (as in what we discuss here) and hawking up a book, or he gets it by repairing his reputation with truth to restore faith in his revenue stream.
UNLESS. If we’re considering the possibility that Gallup is otherwise funded by the largess from DEMOCRAT poweratti in some manner, then they don’t need book sales, or the odd paying customer - just Big Daddy Dem.

On the one hand you state that Democrats do not “off” people who disagree with them, while on the other hand you say he needs to check his brakes. Sounds like you don’t believe your first statement, LOL. Neither do I as I believe they are organized and act like the Mafia.
He might not disappear, but he may be the target of the next DOJ suit ala SandP for downgrading US Securities.
The simple explanation may be that when the face of Stupid Leftisim begins to fail the Stupids begin looking for another face, necessitating the destruction of the reining face in order to preserve the movement. The failure must be kept away from The Movement and localized as much as possible.
