Remember that battle cry? Remember Andrew's last speech at CPAC 2012? If you don't, for the sake of our great country, you should revisit Andrew's last speech and really listen to his plea.
In the last election, to the absolute detriment of our military and our country, some so called Conservatives forgot Andrew's dire warnings and plea to unite before the election. These folks claimed to know the danger to our country that Obama presented, yet, they decided to help elect him rather than vote for the Republican candidate. I remember at CPAC that year, one of the "purists" of a schizophrenic group told me when Romney won the straw poll, "We won't vote for him, we will stay home." I felt like someone had punched me in my stomach, literally, because I knew what that attitude meant for our Troops. I knew that without every vote, our brave men and women were going to suffer tremendously if Obama was re-elected as their Commander-in-Chief.
And that is exactly what has happened. Under Obama, the greatest military on the face of this earth has been treated as nothing but props for this maniac-in-chief! Never, in my lifetime, has any President ever released 5 brutal enemies for one American deserter who left his brothers on the battlefield and walked to the enemy! AND, to add insult to injury to our Troops fighting in the hell hole of Afghanistan, this twisted Commander-in-Chief hosted his parents at our White House as they spoke in the tongue of the enemy, and regaled the deserter as some kind of hero! Never in my lifetime, has the enemy of these great United States gunned down our most precious Sons and protectors, on our soil, on our military base, and this dangerous President gets away with calling this "workplace violence!" Never, ever, in my lifetime did I ever think that our American Sons would be attacked, fight their hearts out waiting, hoping, and what is most heart wrenching, believing that their Brothers were on their way to help them, and nobody came. Nobody came because the coward Secretary of State and Commander-in-chief were playing their dirty game of politics while our Sons died! These two traitors were colluding on shaping the narrative that every single American should be so damn sick and tired of hearing. There was a video that offended the Muslims and they were upset! Just think about that folks, that was, in their twisted, callous minds, an excuse to their base to slaughter 4 American Sons. THERE IS NEVER EVER, EVER, ANY EXCUSE TO MURDER 4 AMERICAN SONS and the idea that offending a bunch of psycho jihadis, who brutalize, torture and behead innocent people, is somehow an excuse is psychotic in itself and should be enough to unite ALL Conservatives!!
Since the election in 2012, I have been so irritated and angry at those who decided to stay home and not vote in 2012, and solely for the reasons above. I love our military and I understand and appreciate with all my heart what they do for all of us. How they sacrifice for all of us and I knew, as so many of us who voted knew, what was going to happen to them and to this country when Obama won re-election. Andrew Breitbart knew what was going to happen too, and in his speech, he gave us the key to taking our country back. Get in the bunker with him to defeat the Progressive left, he said, you're either with us or you're on the other side. United we win, divided we lose!
Since the election, Obama and his Democrats (as Andrew stated so well, not your mother's Democrat party), these "totalitarian freaks" as Andrew so appropriately called them, have proceeded to do EXACTLY what Obama promised. They have set about to "fundamentally transform America." I knew he wasn't kidding. Those of us who voted in 2012, totally and literally get the meaning of the words "fundamentally" and "transform" and we knew what was about to happen if we didn't win the election. It was no time for child's play, it was no time for self indulgent and selfish "purity". It was time to pull together for our brave and beloved men and women fighting brutal terrorists with their hands tied behind their backs and with no respect or allegiance whatsoever coming from Obama and the Dems. The day after the election, I felt the same punch in the stomach feeling as I did the day the naïve twit at CPAC told me "We won't vote for him, we will stay home."
Now here we are, September, 2014. Since November, 2012, I have sat and watched, just absolutely stunned at the emails I get in my inbox from the "purists" who didn't vote. Oh my goodness, they are just outraged at what Obama is doing!! Really, just what the hell did they think was going to happen??!!! Did they think he was kidding, or were they more obsessed with their political purist ideology that they were willing to sacrifice the safety and security of our Troops and our country to keep playing their game. The answer shocks me, but after the election, to my dismay, they kept up. If ever we had a chance to defeat the "totalitarian freaks", if ever there was a reason to pull together to beat the progressive left, it is evidenced in everything Obama and the Dems have been doing for the last 4 years. And yet, over the last 4 years, these purists have done nothing but shoot fellow Conservatives in the back. We are on the battlefield and instead of shooting their "righteous" arrows across the battlefield at the freaks destroying this country, they have chosen to shoot sideways. They have become the most useful tool of Obama and the Democrats.
In the last couple of days, I have received one of the most schizophrenic emails ever and it requires a response. I'm sure you have seen it, it goes like this:
Two words say it all Semper fi
It doesn't matter to me if you are a veteran or not. Please read and forward this to all your e-mail buddies. It needs to go viral.
The 2014 United States elections will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. During this midterm election year, all 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives and 33 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate will be contested in this election. Get out and VOTE!!!!)
A movement has been started by our armed forces to get out the vote in 2014...They are organizing themselves, but this can be done by all of us. The President, the Commander in Chief, has made the Rules of Engagement (ROE) so difficult, that our troops are often killed before they can even get permission to fight. Nothing has been done to stop our troops from being murdered by the Afghanis they are training, either.
Now, the President wants the US to sign on to the UNs International Criminal Court (ICC), which would allow the UN's ICC to arrest and try US troops for War Crimes, without the legal protections guaranteed under US Law, and from which there is no appeal. The President, with his Democratic control of the Senate, has nearly all the power.
and then there's this:
If the Non-Establishment Republicans, and Conservatives, can take back the Senate in 2014, our troops can once again be protected from unnecessary danger."
So much for unity, eh?
It doesn't end there but the rest is just too painful to print. It goes on to detail the horrendous treatment our Troops have suffered and the reason why we have remained so unified against the Democrats, not each other!!! In case these folks don't know it, Semper Fi means ALWAYS FAITHFUL!
First of all, these folks should google the ICC threat they are putting out there. This hysteria has been passed now for a long time and the adults in the room understand the role the Senate would play in this scenario and even Harry Reid wouldn't try to push this through. So stop the nonsense and the hysteria. This reminds me of the fema scare when Obama was elected. Funny, I was told by some that I would be one of the first to go in the fema camp and I'm still here.
Secondly and more to my point, the last time I checked these "Non-establishment Republicans" as they now refer to themselves, I think their candidates fared a pathetic something like 0 for 7 in recent elections. The Republican candidates that truly have a chance to beat the Democrats in the November election fared very well and that is because every single Republican I know voted in the primaries, along with our beloved military and Veterans. So I suggest that's a big Semper Fi and wake up to these "non-establishment Republicans."
Lastly, it is downright sickening and schizophrenic for this bunch to now attempt to align themselves with our brave men and women and our Veterans and use them to further their losing fight. This very division they are promoting is the very reason our Troops and our Veterans have suffered so. Cut the crap! Stop the division! If you care about our Troops and this country, pull together and get behind every Republican candidate in this next election and vote, so we can win the Senate and keep the House. As the adults in the room understand, if Conservatives don't have a majority in the Senate, there is very little the House can do but pass legislation and watch the Democrats shove it in a drawer!!!
The enemy isn't at the door, he is in the frickin house and he is getting closer and closer to my children and yours! To those who want to continue to divide us, go sit in the corner where you belong because we can't afford you anymore. Every Republican I know, and all our brave military and Veterans, we will take care of this election and we will begin to set things right in November.
As Andrew so clearly put it:
"Anyone that's willing to stand next to me to fight the progressive left, I will be in that bunker, and if you're not in that bunker 'cause you're not satisfied with this candidate, more than shame on you. You're on the other side."
Here is the link to Andrew's speech at CPAC 2012. After Andrew's death, there was a national mantra among all those who professed to stand with Andrew and it was everywhere: "I am Andrew Breitbart".
Watch his speech. Andrew laid out as clearly as ever that the enemy was the "progressive left" and he made it clear that if you weren't in the bunker to fight them, "YOU'RE ON THE OTHER SIDE!!!"

To our beloved troops and Veterans, my deepest apologies for all that you have had to endure. My family reveres you, we are beholden to you, and I will continue to do everything I can to fight for you so that you once again are revered by this nation. You are the BEST of the BEST and this nation owes you and your family a debt of gratitude. God Bless and Watch Over You and Your Families.
With A Mother's Heart,

I held my nose and voted for Romney. I will not vote for a RINO again.
If the GOP nominates another country-club, cronyist RINO in 2016 I will write in Ted Cruz and move to Texas - I figure it’s the state with the best chance of making it as an independent nation when the Union dissolves.
Right on Bev ! I feel exactly the same way .
God bless ya
For our troops !
This claim - that 4 million white Conservatives stayed home in 2012 - has never been verified by actual analysis.
There are two reasons to doubt this claim is actually true:
(1) Romney got 1 million MORE votes than McCain.
(2) Obama got 4.5 million LESS white votes in 2012.
Based on that evidence, you could claim that 4.5 million disillusioned white voters rejected Obama in 2012 and stayed home.
“America can only be rebuilt from the ashes. We will never revive it at the ballot box.”
This. To pretend that Willard Romney the open socialist or any other next-in-line would somehow put America on the path to recovery is beyond disingenuous.
AMEN!! I am as conservative as they come, and I too am SICK of PURISTS that say they won’t vote for someone who isn’t as conservative as they are!! DISGUSTING!!<P.Hey PURISTS.....YOU have as much blood on your hands as DEMOCRATS do! COWARDS!!
The people that backed Romney to take over the GOP better be regretting their decision.
Amen
Im happy to say I DID NOT help to elect OBAMA
Also note: there is a difference between Republicans and Democrats
Republicans are not entirely insane yet....better to vote for them if you can help it
That sounds good.
The browbeating conservatives take every election season from the party hacks has really lost its effectiveness since the GOPe came out of the closet and joined the left in vocalizing their contempt for its conservative base.
They can pop a vein for all I care.
Somebody had to win the primary ....who would you suggest should have done it?
The anti-republican/anti-Reagan, Romney managed to use his personal fortune and the help of the left that is within the GOP, to completely dominate and shape two presidential primaries, and keep out major opposition, it has cost us dearly.
The people that backed Romney to take over the GOP better be regretting their decision, but it seems they don’t, since the more we see from them, the more clear it is, that they were dedicated to the results they got, drive conservatism from the GOP and defeat it.
Absolutely. It is always better to vote for the republican for president than the democrat, no matter what. Our sons and daughters in the military lives depend on this. If for no other reason, hold your nose so my son and other’s sons and daughters have a chance to survive.

I watched Lone Survivor at home the other night. The Seals made the decision to let the goat herders go and try to get an extraction before they could tell the Taliban that Americans were in the woods. They made that decision based on what would happen to them if they killed unarmed civilians, they would be charged for murder. So the Seals ended up getting murdered instead. That is what is happening every day to our troops, taking unnecessary risk due to political correctness and the hatred of them by our POTUS.
People, I don’t know why we are going down this road again, so early before 2016.
First, no one is taking about “staying home” in any election now.
Second, you (seekthetruth, aka Beverly Perlson) seem to have forgotten about Cantor’s demise in his primary when you wrote “, the last time I checked these “Non-establishment Republicans” as they now refer to themselves, I think their candidates fared a pathetic something like 0 for 7 in recent elections.”
Perhaps you have already written off David Brat as “unelectable” which is why you then went on to write, “The Republican candidates that truly have a chance to beat the Democrats in the November election fared very well...”
Tell me Ms. Perlson, have you written off David Brat? Is he also not worth this “unity” you speak of, or is that only reserved for the “electable” Republicans in November? Answer me.
If I seem a bit unnecessarily agitated forgive me. I do commend you for all the work you seem to be doing for all our brave men and women in the military. But this call for “unity” seems, to me, to be both premature and frankly one-sided because again, you seem to have forgotten Brat’s victory and/or don’t seem all that concerned about supporting his candidacy. http://davebrat.com
Finally the e-mail you quoted doesn’t seem divisive at all. To me. What is so divisive about it, specifically? Simply because it calls for an ousting of the establishment in Washington?
Please note I’m not advocating anyone “stay home” in November. I certainly won’t even though I’m from Maryland. It’s our duty to vote because men better than you and I died to gain us such a privilege. But I will not say to another that a vote cast against a despicable, dishonorable, cowardly establishment GOPer is “helping the other side” (whatever that means in such a race anyway). Not anymore. NOT, after Mississippi.
It’s time we conservatives realize we are fighting two fronts, one against the Democrats and one against the elitists. This is the sad state of affairs we find ourselves in, that’s just the fact if the situation. Calls for “unity” are meaningless under such conditions. Especially BEFORE any presidential primaries take place.
Bottom line will I vote for a Republican in a general election? Most likely yes, no matter how liberal he may be, just to get the majority in the houses. With some grievous exceptions. Cochran comes to mind here. If I lived in MS, I wouldn’t vote for him, because you know what Ms. Perlson (and anyone else reading this)? He doesn’t really care for conservatism either, which means he doesn’t care for the troops. You can take that to the bank.
And any call for “unity”.
This board over the past years has become infested with Libertarians and an anti-Morman-Romney-Republican wolf pack....and we all know it.
Dare disagree with them and the name-calling, false charges of "censorship" and other daggers erupt along with never-ending nitpicking and deliberate arguments.......resulting in lengthy, eye-glazing contentious threads. It's been an unhappy turn on this board to an extent I never thought I'd see on FR. Many of us know how the ranks have thinned and donations shut off here because of just what I'm referring to.
I have noticed that the name "Romney" on this board has become the trigger-word symbol of this anti-GOP pack who want to stir us to defeat by any means......just as the name "Bush" is the symbol for the Obama leftists to stir the GOP to defeat......even though the two names at this moment in time are largely irrelevant.
Even on today's threads Romney's name is all over this forum, again, as a trigger-word employed as a rallying point for those who want us STAY HOME on election day or VOTE FOR A LOSER THIRD-PARTY CANDIDATE..
We must concentrate on one thing now...the November election. We conservatives must show our strength to the GOPe at this time. We must have a GOP sweep from top to bottom this fall. This means work in supporting the most conservative candidates on the GOP side, no matter their flaws (within reason, of course, for all you roving pack-pouncers out there).
Then we will have a delicious two years to work on flushing out the GOPe-ers with some real plan of action and with some real unity.
If we don't shape up and unite to show our power for November, and the Dems and subversives keep the Senate again, and maintain control of the Executive for two years, WE WILL LOSE THE SUPREME COURT FOR OUR LIFETIME AND FOR OUR CHILDREN ALSO. Sleep on THAT one!
I AM ANDREW BREITBART.
I am NOT, I repeat, I am NOT one of the lemmings, agitators. moles and/or suicidal uber-independents who march around this board night and day determined to lead us over the political cliff to our inevitable demise.

Thanks for that post.
I do not participate in the hard-core political discussions, but I agree with you.
We have to stick together or we are lost-—and if we are lost the country is lost.
Maybe some will have to give a little, but that’s politics.
.
So we should stick together?
How do we stick together with the people who continue to kick us in the face repeatedly?
We always talked about having to kill civilians on such missions, but I have yet to hear of a team doing it.
The SAS and Special Forces both ran into the situation in Desert Storm and didn’t.
One thing that tends to get overlooked in the 2012 analyses (altho it did pop up in a couple threads last week) is that Romney’s GOTV effort collapsed on election day when his GOTV system (ORCA) fell to pieces.
Without there being any sort of backup plan to get a huge chunk of voters out to the polls. Based on the analyses I saw at the time ORCA’s implosion was revealed that, more than any other factor, kept Romney from the Presidency.
I’m hopeful that the new GOTV system the GOP has thrown $100 mil into works. And that the GOP has folks talking to the Brat Campaign, which managed to lay their hands on the Democrat’s GOTV methodology.
