I've seen some negative comments about conservative talk radio host "Glen Beck" in here lately.
Wasn't he the one that brought a million conservatives to a rally in Washington DC? So I'm just curious, if there is one thing you don't like about Mr. Beck, what is it?
He’s a snake-oil salesman who just happened to determine that conservatives were a good target market.
He plagarized Alex Jones and then pretended not to know who he was.
Too self-centered & manic-depressive.
My problem is the fact that he is a drama queen. I used to watch his TV show and I saw him in person years ago, his radio show with all the chatter is awful. I gave up on him ages ago.
He’s no different than Rush or anyone else.
Good place to get information but their opinions are just that opinions no different that yours or anyone else’s opinion.
As long as you don’t hang on his every word and treat his opinions based on his assumptions as facts, it’s a pretty good show.
Beware asking a question like that. It may trigger what I call the “Jealous Cult” around here.
You’re “jealous” if you are not in the tank for this or that cult figure immediately and permanently.
Or, how about this one, referring to the powers that be, that “they” FEAR this or that cult figure is why the figure is criticised, or can’t get off the ground.
I followed him on Fox, and really liked him— at first. But the long emotional,near tears, pauses, followed by swallowing the lump in his throat finally got to me. He was allowing his emotions to rule— not his brain.
And what good are a pile of soccer balls going to do to kids in shelters?

He’s a tool, like many talk show people. When you’re a “personality” in the media there will come a time when you believe more in your own image than the ideals you started out with.
Beck is a phony Huckster! Welcoming illegals at the border with stuffed animals was bad enough, and recently he changed his mind about Iraq and Afghanistan to gain favor with libs.
Beck came to fame by using research done by Michelle Malkin.
He never gave her credit but used the funds to launch his empire.
When Michelle’s home burned in CO Springs, he said and did nothing.
All has done is give cover for Romney in 2012 by labeling everyone Progressive.

I think the man has brain damage, maybe all those years as an alcoholic or maybe since before then.
He will one day prove to be a major embarrassment to conservatives, he has already come close, but there will a day when he loses it completely and it won’t be pretty, I pegged him as a nut some 25 years ago.
However there are many good people on his news team, they will be hurt too. He has done many good things, but it only takes one Awe Shite to wipe out 10 Atta Boys.
I like the dude.

I think you said it well. He is a likable kid just too self absorbed and is upfront about suffering with being bipolar. (Which may explain his genius for mental multi-tasking through complicated subjects, but into the overwhelming, for me anyway.)
Beck has a maddening radio commercial running on 94.3 in Charleston where he misquotes the Constitution and then makes fun of progressives for doing exactly how he misquotes it.
If you haven’t heard it:
“Beck: the preamble to the Constitution says “provide for the general welfare””
The Constitution: “Promote the general Welfare”
