I've seen some negative comments about conservative talk radio host "Glen Beck" in here lately.
Wasn't he the one that brought a million conservatives to a rally in Washington DC? So I'm just curious, if there is one thing you don't like about Mr. Beck, what is it?
My only problem is that his show does not grab my interest. I have no problem with any show that differs from my own opinion but is interesting and well done. On the flip side, there are many shows, Hannity for example, that I agree with the host’s opinions but do not listen or watch because the show is boring and the host is not too bright.
He lost me in the last election. He seemed to demonize every Republican candidate until the only option left was Romney. I don’t remember him criticizing Romney.

His overly inflated opinion of himself and his weepy histrionics are repellent to me.

At any rate, I do agree with him on a lot of political points, but the above items are a deal-breaker for me.

The First lady an I met Beck twice, once at Clearchannel, and once at Macdill during Airfest (?). Spoke with him for 10-15 minutes. We like the guy, although don’t listen to him often.

He brought all those folks to DC under the guise of an anti-Obama protests, then bait-and-switched it to an evangelization.

The Bundy issue is when I started getting fed up with GB...this border Welcome Wagon stunt was the LAST STRAW, for me.
I was a long time supporter of GB, too. Enjoyed his FoxNews shows. Subscribed to his email updates, The BlazeTV, bought a couple of his sponsored products, etc.
I’ve dropped ANY/ALL connections to him.

Watching Beck detiorate on FNC over the years leads me to believe that he needs a psych eval. The man ain’t right in the head.
My problem with Gen Beck is that he has jumped the Rand Paul Shark.
Dr, Krauthammer has an excellent article on National Review, entitled, The Vacant President. The article is about why Obama appears so disengaged on foreign issues and it could apply to Rand Paul as well.
He’s pro Gay marriage.
he;s not conservative, he is very liberal on social issues and other issues like the border.
IMO, he comes across as a Messiah wannabe, far too self-absorbed for his own good.
OTOH, he has been a good teacher to those who were unaware of the history of progressivism and the evil of Alinsky.
His Libertarianism may explain his weepy bs. It’s very off putting, in any event.
Glenn Beck is like those ads that pop up in your email promising the “secret” to paying off your mortgage in 6 months, or achieving startling weight loss in 30 days, or providing a secret list of foods that will cure, or prevent, cancer, or providing a method of building a fortune in gold, etc. They tease you into continuing to click their links and then never allow you to get out of the reel. Beck is always promising to let you in some secret, but he never delivers.
I don’t have time for that nonsense.
