So why master homemade mayonnaise? For starters, its healthier and tastes better than store-bought (yes, even Dukes). Plus, making mayo will make your grandmothers heart full.

My recipe:
In food processor, 1 whole egg plus one egg yolk, pinch of Himalayan sea salt, 1 tsp Dijon mustard, 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice. Pulse 3 times. Add 1 cup sunflower oil by drizzling into food processor while pulsing for about 3 mins.
I make mine with organic ingredients and I never have a problem with it spoiling or separating.

made my own mayonnaise before. used olive oil. turned out pretty good.
Yup, you are correct.
Btw, canola fields are gorgeous. Google some images. Beautiful fields of bright dense yellow flowers. Canada is where a lot of it is grown because it is a short season crop.

The first time I heard of it while on business in Europe, I too thought I was hearing things.
I was a veg oil trader in a previous life. It is why I have the knowledge. Love food, but its certainly not to a fetish level. Never worked in the food service industry either, except as a commodities buyer for a food manufacturer.
Ok thank you just that I never heard that kind of seed oil
