“Women of Color” have had no problems with military grooming standards for generations.
But it’s Obama’s Army now.
We’re past that point. Eric Holder decided (or someone did) we cannot do criminal background checks, as they are potentially discriminatory, or something. I am not kidding.
Call it Balkanization, devolution or entropy. If not checked early, it is fatal.

I am sure the reason they did this is people were getting out of hand, but the idiot Obama voters will think it is the evil military just trying to keep blacks down.
Wasn’t it easier when everybody just got a 1/4 inch shave? And why can’t they do that? Certainly the women don’t believe in the stereotype the women have to have longer hair to be attractive, right? They are “equal” now.

Oh, my mistake. She can have cornrows. But they must be about 1/4 inch across and she can’t have more than 1/8 of a inch of scalp showing between the braids. So it’s out for women with thinner hair. (And have fun maintaining a hundred braids in the field.)

How about just shaving everybody bald and leaving it at that?
And during the Civil War era, long hair and beards attracted lice. And so after campaigns and long marches, both Union and Confederate soldiers often shaved themselves to deal with the “lousy” pests.

Did you read the regs? She’s not even allowed to shave her head! (I know that enough women are about fed up enough to do that.) Hair must be at least 1/4 inch long.

She can shave the sides and have a high and tight. A female soldier received the MOH for her uncle the other day and she had one.

Sikhs are the ones who have been fighting to drop the American military standards and were fighting for beards and Turbins.
Sikhs were a long time problem, but the Reagan administration ended their nonsense in 1984, but Obama caved to them again in 2010.
