George Dalmon, a former rugby player, and his friend Andy Miles were banned from all-you-can-eat restaurant, Gobi, In Brighton, after the manager branded them "a couple of pigs".
The men would each eat five bowls of stir-fry during their regular meals at the Mongolian barbecue, which invites guests to create their own dishes from the buffet.

We’ll just have to agree to disagree. Anytime someone comes in and hands you money for your product - there should be very few reasons to tell them no - I don’t want your money.
Especially in this crappy economy.
“There is nothing good or attractive about greed...”
And,,,, I felt so bad for the owners! A young couple, wife very beautiful, and very, very pregnant, and the butt heads were just ripping them off! I have many Chinese friends, all proud to be new Americans, and all incredibly hard-working! The two fatsos really p’d me off. Grossly unfair! And.. all my Chinese friends are very good Christians, happy to be free of China. They miss their homes,,, but will never go back.
we laugh at it...but liberals write books defending that type of logic....and some idiots buy them!
You’re coming from the side of “the customer is always right”, known to people in the support/ complaint handling business as “the worst thing anybody ever said”. Because the people who’ve dealt with confused, unhappy or greedy (that’s these two) customer know that these groups of customers are usually wrong, almost always their problem is their own making. And these people always cost you money. It’s the group that one of the cell companies (I think Verizon but I don’t remember) jettisoned a few years ago, their most expensive 10%.
In this crappy economy the “customers” that cost you money are the most important ones to get rid of. Verizon knew, this restaurant knows it, and now you know it.
Because the customer offered himself the "all you can eat" deal?
A business owner who offers the "all you can eat" deal has no responsibility when someone takes them up on it???
Yeah the customer is always right.
You may not like the customer but they’re always right. :)
“Ive worked food service. I know the math. Ive seen all you can eat blow up. And Ive seen it work.”
Indeed. I live in Las Vegas. My daughter and I hit a buffet on holidays because cooking just isn’t worth it. I probably pay for at least 3 fatty’s, but it’s better than throwing out food that will either go bad or not fit in the fridge.
The crappy food served at those places and
Your reduced health to save a few bucks.
The owner always gets the last laugh.
I don’t mean this comment to criticize any posters.
When I was a freshman my friends took me there and I ordered the special. I got a plate with a couple of pieces of catfish and a pile of cole slaw. The fish was good. I finished it up and signaled for more. The waitress came over and asked what I wanted and I said I ordered the "all you can eat for $4.00 special".
She look at me with a slight grin and said, "That IS all you can eat for $4.00"
My friends had a good laugh at my expense. But, the next semester I got to take a newbie there for his "special".
Most restaurants these days are barely treading water. It's even worse for buffets. I'm sure the quality has steadily deteriorated.

So “All You Can Eat” should be false advertising?
False advertising is a good business strategy?
“All you can eat on one plate without getting back up” is what should be on the sign then.
BTW, the way you paint all fat people with a broad brush is really disgusting. Jennifer Livingston is gonna’ go all fatwa on you!
Yeah he has the responsibility to kick them out before they bankrupt him. All you can year relies on the social contract of people not making a spectacle of themselves. When you get people that can’t handle that you kick them out.
That’s the lie people have been taught to relieve. But ask anybody who’s ever worked support or complaints and you’ll learn reality: the customer is always WRONG, but you can never tell them that.
Golden Corral is always good....plenty of food...the best fresh rolls....
Then put a time limit on it. I am not talking about those 2 guys specifically, just in general.
I kind of hope they show up to picket the place, one wearing a dog suit and one wearing a rat suit. They seem to be the kind who might do it too. :p
There’s no false advertising about it. Doesn’t say you decide all you can eat, it leave the business the ability to decide you’ve eat all you can.
I didn’t paint all of anybody with anything. I painted these two lardos who went out of their way to pay little to stuff their bellies with food they probably could live longer without.
