OKMULGEE, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a portable methamphetamine lab exploded in a mans pants as he tried to run away from a state trooper during a traffic stop.
Tulsa television station KOTV reports the incident happened shortly after midnight Friday in Okmulgee County. Authorities say the man tried to run away when the trooper asked him about a chemical smell.
Trooper Shiloh Hall says the man had an active meth lab in his pants that burst during a struggle with the trooper. The man was checked out by emergency personnel and booked in the Okmulgee County jail on a drug charge.
A portable meth lab is also known as a one-pot lab, where a smaller batch of the drug is manufactured.
"Is that a meth lab in your pants or are you just happy to see me?"
Laughed loud and long at the headline!
Is he singing soprano?
TTIUWP.
....’Hot Pockets’
Aside from the comical content of the story, journalists seem to be somewhat fuzzy regarding what constitutes a “laboratory” and a reaction vessel. Whether it’s a deliberate attempt to dumb-down the audience, journalistic lazyness, or a mixture of both is unclear.
Never a good idea to keep the condenser running for “stimulation”....
Unghh....
I guess his crank got crank’ed
Bad place for a meth lab
A few weeks ago, there was a story about an elderly woman who had served as a radio operator many years ago. The journalist reported that the woman had received messages in Morris Code.
Ignorance and Laziness. That's what J-School teaches 'em.

Gives new meaning to “Breaking Bad” in your pants!
Meth lab—shaken, not stirred.
