Prayers appreciated for a young Marine in our life - Until '05 I pastored with his father in Upstate NY - I watched this boy grow up - always wanting to be a Marine.
Long story short - 3rd tour in Afghanistan - just got a call yesterday that he stepped on an IED and lost a few toes, along with some ankle damage. Being flown back as we speak. No one else in his team was injured.
We are told the mud absorbed a lot of the blast
will post updates as they become available
Prayers appreciated for him and his family
Thanks
Glad to see Shane is doing well. Prayers have been sent for him and his family.
I pray for this hero, and do not intend to hijack your thread.
I also ask for prayers for a dear friend of mine who yesterday was shot three times, once in the face during a PTSD experience. He was undergoing treatment in a “Warrior Transition Program” after returning from several tours where he was blown up by IEDs and had his buddies killed.
Prayers up for this young hero.
Will keep him in my prayers.
Prayers for the Marine.

Thank you Lord that it was not worse, and that he is on the road to recovery! And heartfelt thanks to that young Marine for his service. Prayers lifted for a quick and complete recovery.
May God bless and keep them, every one.

Prayers lifted for a brave Marine!
Dear Lord, be with this marine in this difficult time. Be with his family also. Give them comfort in knowing that you are with them always. This I ask in Jesus name, Amen.
We thank you, Shane, for your service to our country.
Prayers of peace and healing for your young friend.
We thank him for his service to our country.
Praying for this young hero; grateful that his injuries were not life threatening
Prayer bump
Prayers.
Two different Warriors with different injuries and different outcomes, but united in service to our beloved country.
Most Merciful Father, bind the wounds of these brave young men. Restore them, we pray, and return them to the ones they love. Spirit of the Living God, ease the pain of horrific memory and devastating loss. Equip them to go into the battle of life with the bravery they have shown in their service to our country.
May it be thus, O Lord, may it be thus, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen ...
Prayers continuing.
Adding your dear friend to my prayers.
