Dogs were probably useful as h*ll on the battlefield way back when. In the days when wars were fought with swords and spears, a quick dog with sharp teeth was probably as effective as most infantrymen. ´Don´t think so. Though when I was at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio I talked to a lot of guys from all branches who were at the dog training school at Lackland AFB.

JRT’s aren’t evil, they’re just...Nietzschean.

Amazing dogs! They actually seem to have realized what was going on and did their part to help. Although I think that Pal (”Gander”) thought he was playing ball with the Japanese soldiers as the note under his picture suggests.

LOL. JRT’s are extremely Smart! But in a somewhat “naughty” way.

Whereas BC’s are smart in a businesslike and professional way.

Torey-The-Dog could be BOTH! hahaha

“Nietzchean? Oh well, if that’s your Weltenschung”, she said with a Bissel Schadenfreude.

Indeed... Like cockerdoodles or labradoodles, the Jack Russell/ Border Collies are a breed unto themselves. I have dubbed them “Jack Border Terrorists”

Years back when I lived in the suburbs a friend had a huge white shepard. He had to give everyone the once over when you came into the house and then walked away if you were OK. One night the owners came home, the back door was broken into..the kitchen and livingroom had blood around and the dog was peacefully sleeping in his bed....He did his job and went back to sleep...never found out who broke in but bet they didn’t do it again....
