Grandson Gerry is about halfway through basic now, he has been able to call and they have internet access, if they aren't too tired to use it.
It looks like they'll all survive!
O aimed a little arrow at his little bald head, LOL I hope this running through the woods holding hands stuff isn't part of Obama's indoctrination LOL!

I figured out about halfway through boot camp that the purpose of boot camp was to 1. make you work as a team and 2. to attempt to make you quit.

Ummmmmm, what is with the safety glasses? I was never issued safety glasses. I was never issued sneakers and work out shorts for PT either.

Be sure to obtain the Video that will be produced for the rotation.
It is so very cool to watch them all come out of the gas chamber with a few liters of snot coming out of their upper airway system.
Basic Army Training is nowadays way more challenging than when I went through it long ago.
