I think the article was writen just to have an excuse to publish the picture of her! Not that I mind. But it is about the recipe she was supposed to have written down! No recipe no story!

Marilyn Monroe was a dab hand in the kitchen and would often have powerful men churn butter for her

I assume her cooking skills were what attracted so many men to her.

Everybody is being mean! As a cook, I loved reading this article. Firstly, there was a fun photo of her dressed in a sexy Pilgrim outfit. Then the article deconstructed her very interesting recipe for Thanksgiving stuffing.
Way before the Times began to understand her “mystery” ingredients, I already surmised that her use of raisins and pine nuts were the influence of Joe DiMaggio’s family. When Marilyn married Arthur Miller, she mastered kosher cooking for her new in-laws. As the song goes: she could cook, too!

For those that might not know...
At her funeral, celebrities and big shots flew into Los Angeles from all over the world, to attend Marilyn funeral...
Joe DiMaggio who was in charge of her funeral service, told them all to forget it, they weren't invited...All the celebrities and fat cats were all pissed off.
Joe said "They killed her", and sure in hell aren't attending her funeral service.
At the service in LA, thousands tried to look over the walls to get a glimpse...There were on a couple of people, unknowns if you will, were seen walking behind the Hurst to Marilyn's final resting place.

So what could the ingredient they say “she described as chopped parsley” Be? Could it have been actually parsley chopped as she wrote it down? And these to idiots decided that was not exotic enough and substituted what they thought she used? Mary Jane?

She was married to Joe DiMaggio and Arthur Miller. The recipe calls for you to hit the stuffing for 56 straight games and then bake it in a crucible.
