Everybody is being mean! As a cook, I loved reading this article. Firstly, there was a fun photo of her dressed in a sexy Pilgrim outfit. Then the article deconstructed her very interesting recipe for Thanksgiving stuffing.

Way before the Times began to understand her “mystery” ingredients, I already surmised that her use of raisins and pine nuts were the influence of Joe DiMaggio’s family. When Marilyn married Arthur Miller, she mastered kosher cooking for her new in-laws. As the song goes: she could cook, too!

So what could the ingredient they say “she described as chopped parsley” Be? Could it have been actually parsley chopped as she wrote it down? And these to idiots decided that was not exotic enough and substituted what they thought she used? Mary Jane?
