Good evening.
The NON-Recovery Fall is here, and leading into election day, it's expected that higher unemployment figures will not help the Dems.
Related to that, in a shocker, the Cleveland Plain Dealer has endorsed John Kasich for Governor over the incumbent Dem, Strickland. This is a "Did I read that right?" moment: a huge plus for Kasich.
I guess even a Lib paper in the most liberal part of the state can't hide from the truth.
You are so cute and clever. Good Morning Rav.
What a beautiful bright sky.
Random thoughts:
Are you ready for some baseball???
I told my boss this morning that I wouldn’t be in tomorrow because there is a Yankee game tonite...lol.
Good for you. I’m looking forward to a WIN!
And LARGE, too!
I have found that the width=xx% works in preview, but not post.
That’s where I messed up! Thanks. The web site from whom I borrowed it had it sized their way. I should have deleted that.
It was early in the morning and I wasn’t awake enough to care about trying to fix it.
Mark Halperin was on the Don and Roma show (WLS)this morning. He seemed to be saying that there would be a 70 seat swing in the House and eleven seats could go Rep in the Senate.
Roma asked him if there was anything that could change the momentum at this point. He replied that a Martian invasion that was well handled by 0 might shift the momentum.
AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
THX THX.
Took dad to town to eat breakfast and vote....Will be working as clerk/inspector on election day.
They were having a tax sale at the court house....Largest one any one can remember. Hope the people I knew there were buying not having their property sold.
Believe me. I understand.
I have a new hearing aid coming. The insurance company paid a portion of it when it is 100% coverage.
Two other issue are in the air as well.
I enjoy problem solving, but I don't need to be bombarded all at once.
Pins and needles , needles and pins. It's a happy woman who grins.
:))
We, too, have 100% coverage. At least, that is what is touted. Then, when you actually need the coverage you find that it is only 100% of a nebulous hard-to-determine usual, customary and reasonable charge which is only usual in some very very low-priced market, isn’t customary at any doctor I’ve patronized and never reasonable at all! There are often other loopholes which are really hard to find without digging through a whole mess of fine print.
I think the problem with our medical care can be laid squarely at the door of HMOs.
Dang it!!! Hoping for a quick resolution to all those issues....I hate when it pours like that.
I’m not taking tomorrow off...I’ll save the day for if/when a night game happens that is BIG.
Yea, no kidding.
I take a sleep aid...have to and have been for a while. I don’t like to take it, but I NEED to take it or I won’t be sleeping.
I have to get pre-authorization for the 30 day script. Without it they will only give me a 15 day supply. So maybe I should just chose which 15 nights a month I’d like to sleep???? I go through this stupid exercise every 3 months or so. These yahoos have my so called medical or prescription history...I have been with them for MANY years. This is the only prescription I take....so I sometimes wonder if I shouldn’t be taking the other things she prescribes because this “exercise” is so aggravating and depressing lol.
The list of grievances is long. It is a medical merry-go-round. I was talking with a friend last night and she, like me, has just decided to remain sick. I’m only going to go to the doc for immediate treatment of injuries.
I reserve the right to change my mind.
But I do wish medicos will start to listen to this. Many of us are planning to drop out of the system. We’d rather die.
I'm so confused with their confusion.
Ehh? What’s that?
Oh you are so right.
Just like with the dentist (of which I am NO where near finished ughhhhh)....1st consult they tell me my OOP will be ONLY $1000...then by the time we get done, I’ve forked over the $1000 but still owe $899???? and to finish the work the next year (which we are currently in but obviously haven’t been able to get back to finish) is close to $2000????
So my monthly is $40 and my annual limit is $1250 but when it is $50 to just walk in the door and I have a $50 deductible ...sheesh...
