I have a new hearing aid coming. The insurance company paid a portion of it when it is 100% coverage.
Two other issue are in the air as well.
I enjoy problem solving, but I don't need to be bombarded all at once.
We, too, have 100% coverage. At least, that is what is touted. Then, when you actually need the coverage you find that it is only 100% of a nebulous hard-to-determine usual, customary and reasonable charge which is only usual in some very very low-priced market, isn’t customary at any doctor I’ve patronized and never reasonable at all! There are often other loopholes which are really hard to find without digging through a whole mess of fine print.
I think the problem with our medical care can be laid squarely at the door of HMOs.
When I have that kind of a problem, I ask for an American, because I’m hearing impaired and I’ve lost so many sounds, I can understand only American English. It’s worked, so far.
