I hate Family Guy.
I think it is the absolute worst rubbish on television.
I won’t watch it even for Rush.
I think it was a career mistake for Rush to do this.
The Family Guy is produced by uber-libs. From what I can gather from the promo, the show will portray Rush’s listners poorly.
This show is vulgar trash, I still can’t believe Rush agreed to do this. Bad move.
That new wifey must have some influence, heh.
I used to love FG but it has become totally unwatchable.

I agree. I find Family Guy one of the most abhorrent things on television and I am extremely disappointed in Rush for lending his name to such abject garbage! I am a huge Rush fan, but I will not watch the Family Guy, Rush or no Rush.
Family Guy is a great show. Just dont watch with kids. The rest of you “I havent watched TV in 20 years” croud can piss off.
FAMILY GUY is a clever enemy of all that FreeRepublic stands for. It gets in lots of cheap shots, both subtle and overt, at Conservatives, conservative positions, and the show is blatantly blasphemous.
Yeah but when they’re on they’re incredibly funny.
People shouldn’t take life so seriously, it is a sit-com after all. Anybody getting their politics from a cartoon is a moron and probably already a lib.

I think people should take life more seriously. Then we wouldn’t have such a joke in the White House. Then we might have more people willing to resist Mohammedan encroachment. Then maybe we wouldn’t be insanely in debt as a nation.
But let’s not let anything upset our cheap laughs.
No, then we’d just have a lot more people having heart attacks. Really what exactly are you accomplishing by hating Family Guy? Have it’s ratings dipped since you declared it a “clever enemy”? Have you created more conservatives? Or have you just increased your blood pressure and shortened your life expectancy?
If you don’t want to watch the show fine, your time, but you go off on rants like I replied to you’re actually giving them power over you. There’s a million shows I’m not interested in out there, but I don’t hate on any of them because there’s no point to it. Life is too short to be wasted on hating a TV show.
When it’s on it’s a great show. The season starter built around Agatha Christie’s 10 Little Indians (probably the most adapted story in history) was pretty darn good. They’ve poke at Rush before with varying degrees of comedy success. I’ll watch it because I like the show, though they have slipped lately hopefully that season starter is indications of getting back into form.
That’s a funny clip. I’d think Rush looked into the episode before he signed up for it.

I did not use the word “hate”. But thanks for the concerns about my blood pressure. I can still run with these Fort Benning guys around here so I haven’t kicked over yet.
I just recognize FAMILY GUY as part of the Hollywood culture that helps produce zip-wads who don’t vote or even worse...vote for Obama. It is not just FAM GUY but all passive entertainment that makes a joke out of Life. People need to be off the couch and defending what’s left of America rather than sitting and laughing at its rapid decline.
