It’s really as simple as that. Go deep into the heart of Russia and you’ll see what it does to the neighborhood. It’s quite heartbreaking (even after nearly 20 years of the fall of the iron curtain)
I would say we are moving toward fascism rather than socialism. The difference is that fascism allows private ownership with government direction of the economy through coercion and intimidation. Sound familiar.

Between them, socialism and fascism seem to pretty well sum up well over 90% of the obama agenda. obama’s confiscatory obamacare is textbook socialism, his czars and takeover of banking and the automotive industries are fascist-like control and regulation. His political thugs and hit men are pure Chicago politics - the worst kind, the kind that gives Chicago politics a bad name. His virtual control over the MSM is fascist to the core, and they bent over and took it willingly.

Last week we saw the last topic for the Amendments to the Constitution. Those began as a countdown from the 10th to the 1st, which I've admitted was poor planning, then continued from 11 to 27. It has been suggested that I start a new series doing the Articles one by one. I haven't checked, but I'd be very surprised if the Constitution doesn't already appear in an FR topic or three. |

1) Slavery to the state.
Socialism became inevitable in this country when the word “rich” was allowed by all to become a pejorative.
I am anti-socialism of any kind and with that said I do find it funny that those that tend to be the loudest against socialism in Town Halls on Youtube (if I remember correctly) see as part of their protest them reciting “The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag” - a pledge that was written by a socialist for socialistic reasons but now embraced loudest by the so called anti-socialist right. That is just weird to me.
