I would say we are moving toward fascism rather than socialism. The difference is that fascism allows private ownership with government direction of the economy through coercion and intimidation. Sound familiar.

Between them, socialism and fascism seem to pretty well sum up well over 90% of the obama agenda. obama’s confiscatory obamacare is textbook socialism, his czars and takeover of banking and the automotive industries are fascist-like control and regulation. His political thugs and hit men are pure Chicago politics - the worst kind, the kind that gives Chicago politics a bad name. His virtual control over the MSM is fascist to the core, and they bent over and took it willingly.
