To the moon, troll, to the moon!

During the cold war, JFK claimed to have gone to the moon. He got congress to spend billions on his moon landing and pretended america landed there, convincing congress to give him billions, the fakeness of the landing is well documented.

It seems to me that this liberal moneybags, that he took these billions for personal use, or maybe gave them to the USSR (we all know he was soft on communism)

Perhaps his death was similarly staged in order to keep his billions or keep congress of his case.

I wonder if under an obama administration we will see more moon landings.

Have the dust bunnies thump their big dusty feet.
Everyone will sneeze, which will call the attention of the creature codenamed “Marsh Mallow”.
Much horror will ensue, and people will be stuffing book pages in their ears in a vain attempt to stifle the terror inducing trilling this creature emits.
(For more information on “Marsh Mallow”, consult database entry [deleted].)

Arkansas is a pretty place. We spent the night in a campground just outside of Little Rock on our way back to California several years ago. Hubby would love
to live in central Arkansas someday.

My son can’t get his clothes into the clothes hamper let alone cook a meal. LOL
Well, I take that back....partially. He does an excellent job as barbecuing. He grills a mean tri-tip. My daughter has always been a good cook but I don’t know where she got it. I’ve never much liked cooking and there are only a few things I cook very well.

No. It sounds like we’ll be in Redding, CA for a few weeks at Christmas time. My husband’s job is getting shutdown for the holidays so his employer is sending him north ‘til it starts up again.

....How complete is your collection?

I just got a volume of early short stories: "The Good Old Stuff." Most are about 20 pages long and all are "surprising."
I LIKE it!

All right, fine!

If that's the way you feel about it. Keep spinning your webs, Woman.

I have no clue why my son wanted to go to Arkansas, but he was in his early 20’s and just out of the army when he went there.

Of course, Mom (me) was tucked safely away in Vegas, vowing never to live in the Midwest again. Ever. I’ve spent time from SD to TX and everywhere in between, and never did like any of it!

I cook TOO well; my problem is that I have no one to cook FOR! LOL!

AR will be fun...my son is fun...his son is fun...and my son has promised me that I do NOT have to push Jewell, his restored VW, to get it started!! We’ll see...

If I spin my webs, you will, most likely, be caught in one. And THEN what would you tell NicknamedSue?

It’s a good thing for me you aren’t likely to try to lure me with cookies ...

Say, chocolate chip cookies, fresh from the oven, or something.

.

With milk.

I COULD... especially since I make the best chocolate chip cookies west of the Alleghenies, but to taste them, you would have to stay the night, and drink lots of milk with them. Otherwise, your chips would be subject to confiscation... ;oþ

Sounds like you’re going to have a ball!

I grew up in the midwest but have lived in California for 23 yrs. I couldn’t live in Illinois or Iowa again, but I do like Missouri. We lived there from ‘96 to ‘00.

Have a wonderful trip!

We were in St. Charles for nearly three years, and though I loved the history, the climate sucked.

I know...some folks love it and some get used to it, but then there are folks like me...

Humidity makes my chest hurt, so I try not to spend much time there! Arkansas is beautiful, and for my son, I will visit as long as he can tolerate me!

Thanks for the wishes! I’ll enjoy every minute!

Now, where have I heard...?

Say, you wouldn’t happen to be the same guy who wrote that classic book about the Internet, “The Road to Surfdom”?
