To the moon, troll, to the moon!

During the cold war, JFK claimed to have gone to the moon. He got congress to spend billions on his moon landing and pretended america landed there, convincing congress to give him billions, the fakeness of the landing is well documented.

It seems to me that this liberal moneybags, that he took these billions for personal use, or maybe gave them to the USSR (we all know he was soft on communism)

Perhaps his death was similarly staged in order to keep his billions or keep congress of his case.

I wonder if under an obama administration we will see more moon landings.

I remember the whole program, at least from Sputnik on. The astronauts were my heroes!

I like PB and honey on the same sammige. It’s even great on English muffins.

Jelly/jam is good on toast with butter. Not sammiges.

I’ve been around! More lurking than posting lately. I’ve been trying to NOT spend so much time on my computer because once I turn it on it’s like I’ve
moved to another planet where nobody lives but me. :)

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Big hugs back to you and everybody else.

Hey! How right you are!
(Did you forget we are in Outer Space?)

Thanksgiving was just a day to remember all the great things I’ve been given in the last year that I am thankful for, and that I can toast with a pumpkin pie and whipped cream!

We all live here...in the Flying Castle, so you are NOT alone in Space!

We certainly are, aren’t we. The Flying Castle....it’s a great place to hide yet not be alone. :)

My son and I flew to Illinois for Thanksgiving. Got to see my parents, several of my cousins, their kids and grandkids. We had a great time.

Went Christmas shopping Friday after in Fairview Heights with my daughter and granddaughter. I think we walked 20 miles that day. Whew!

I’m going to Little Rock to visit with my son and grandson next week, and I think my son is going to fix me a pork roast. ;o]

He and his sister got their wires crossed while they were waiting in line to come to Earth. He could cook a meal and have it all on the table HOT, when he was 14, mend his socks, sew on buttons and wash his own clothes. My daughter has finally, after 40, learned how to make coffee...go figger...

She DOES like to shop, which makes me wonder if she is really my kid...I hate shopping! LOL!

It sounds like you had a lot of fun, and that is so cool!

Will you be going back at Christmas?

I presume you also know about this one.

Yes, I know. It was a tough choice between that, the one I chose, and several Ensiferum CDs.

Yes. Your best place to start would be here, and work your way backwards.

I also posted a synopses on my home page.

more here, and here.

The point is that the Socialists and the Liberals agreed to a coalition with the Quebec Separatist party. The Liberals used to be "The Natural Governing Party" of Canada, and now they are in bed with people who would break up our country.

If you want to piss off Canadians, that would be the best first step.

;-D

Here is more.

Clive is really good at this stuff.

“Can you confirm this for me Clive?”

Correct.

All that has happened is that parliament has prorogued until late January. This gives the government time to prepare and deliver the annual Budget Speech which conventionally is delivered in February. Harper remains Prime Minister.

A Canadian Budget speech is not just a matter of taxation and funding the government. It is a major statement of the state of the economy and the government’s proposed response to it.

Most of the meat of the Budget speech is not in the oral presentation, but is in the Budget Papers that are tabled as part of the speech. Those papers are simultaneously released to the public.

The budget debate which follows the Budget Speech is a major annual debate. It will be the Opposition parties’ first opportunity in the new session to put forth motions of non-confidence.

It will also be the government’s opportunity to present its fiscal plans for the nation and to dare the opposition to force the government to take it to the electorate.

Yep. Sort of a cross between visiting Mayberry, and spending a weekend with the Jetsons.

Thank you. So the liberal coup has failed, for now, and Harper has some real time to prepare.

The Moon is a forbidden object, unless one is a member of the Secret Society of the Lunistic Druidems, which meets once a month in the Library of Passion and Breathlessness.

Otherwise, you’re on your own.
