During the cold war, JFK claimed to have gone to the moon. He got congress to spend billions on his moon landing and pretended america landed there, convincing congress to give him billions, the fakeness of the landing is well documented.
It seems to me that this liberal moneybags, that he took these billions for personal use, or maybe gave them to the USSR (we all know he was soft on communism)
Perhaps his death was similarly staged in order to keep his billions or keep congress of his case.
I wonder if under an obama administration we will see more moon landings.
I can sympathize. One of mine has never been the same since I fell on a broken bottle at the bottom of a swimming pool in the snow. (You can guess about how old I was... *\;-)
OUCH!
17?
Nope. Younger than that. Worse, I had to climb a fence to get into the pool. I was also wearing a pair of white jeans — they were pretty red by the time I got home. *\:-(
9?
I had my left knee “fixed” and didn’t realize how bad my right one was until my left knee was “quiet.”
The right knee will have to do. My left knee now has no “padding” under the cap.
About 3 or 4 years older than that, I think.
I was going to say...you must have been about 12, since that was the age my own son was “invincible!”
Now I have a bunch of utilities to install.
Does the new one click, creak, or otherwise bother you?
I’m been putting this off forever.
Yep. That’s about the time mine broke his wrist.
My left knee gave me so much pain, and was in such sad shape (an old football injury *snort*) that when I finally damaged it for the last time, I said, “I give! Uncle!”
I took a header over the handlebars of my bike, trying to brake for Igor, who had cut in front of me to make a right turn, knowing that I was behind him. When the doctor found arterial blood, he scheduled me for surgery two days later. (This was on a Saturday.)
The surgery itself was a breeze. But my body is strange, and instead of my knee having to be drained, it drained itself. I had to change the dressing every day for nearly a week.
However, if your knee is bad enough to put you on crutches, I would strongly recommend that you have an arthroscopy ASAP. You will not realize how bad the knee is until you no longer have to deal with the pain.
PS: My left knee is quite benign, compared to my right one, but I don’t want to be on crutches for a week, so I won’t have my right one done.
Get your knee fixed. It will thank you.
I took a header over the handlebars of my bike, trying to brake for Igor,
I did that once....separated my shoulder. ;-)
I would strongly recommend that you have an arthroscopy ASAP.
I'll see my doctor at the end of next week. He will forward me to the specialist, with an appointment sometime between Feb., and April. She will schedule me for surgery some time between Dec. 2009, and July, 2010.
Socialized health care, coming to a country near you.
:-)
*Sheiss!*
Yep.
We are all screwed.
Was it good for you?
Um..no...I had to help myself, as usual....
LOLOL!
Hey, you were the one posting soft porn the other day!
Er...Bob...no one told you to read this far....
Besides: I’ve read things much more graphic, penned by a dear friend.... ;o]
