To the moon, troll, to the moon!

During the cold war, JFK claimed to have gone to the moon. He got congress to spend billions on his moon landing and pretended america landed there, convincing congress to give him billions, the fakeness of the landing is well documented.

It seems to me that this liberal moneybags, that he took these billions for personal use, or maybe gave them to the USSR (we all know he was soft on communism)

Perhaps his death was similarly staged in order to keep his billions or keep congress of his case.

I wonder if under an obama administration we will see more moon landings.

Warm and wet. I guess Algore got it right for SC. He missed everywhere else on the Earth, Mars, and Venus.

LOL, I wasn't going to say that. I think it was TC who said they'd taken all our global warming.

Which is why I am engaged in a process involving carbon emissions today. It's called "Split Wood, Not Rocks" and is based upon rapid oxidation of recently-expired lifeforms instead of long-dead lifeforms. But it's all very green though because the recently-expired lifeform expired locally -- only a few dozen meters away.

I started the woodstove this morning and the gas heat hasn't come on all day.

"I started the woodstove this morning and the gas heat hasn't come on all day."

Okay, you're getting there. Next step, be sure to put your plastic jugs and bottles in with the regular trash headed for the landfill.

You see, carbon sequestration is the answer to an over-abundance of carbon dioxide, and plastic in landfills takes thousands of years to break down.

.

You never thought about that, did you? Stupid environmentalists have no internal consistency. Just picture hollow jello.

Yup. Looks like it's over for us, but on the radar there's stuff appearing on a line from Victoria to Bellingham heading SW towards both of us. Whether it remains rain or turns to snow...

How much snow have you had?

Mount San Jacinto is about 45 minuets from my house.

That's a lot of dancing!

You forgot "carbon-emitting", but it is all of the above! I trust the same is true for you?

(Dinner is close, I can smell it -- yum!)

We’re also running through our collection of Christmas CDs and LPs. Just finished one of American folk Christmas and shifted to Gregorian Christmas.

Um. Looking up Jeff Dunham... Ah. "Acmed the Dead Terrorist"...

A number of presents are still on their way here, since the Post Office, UPS et al haven't been able to make deliveries in a number of days.

The local classical music station was playing shaped notes Christmas music and pre-1900 Appalachian folk music this afternoon.

My brother made a CD of him playing Christmas songs on the piano.
