During the cold war, JFK claimed to have gone to the moon. He got congress to spend billions on his moon landing and pretended america landed there, convincing congress to give him billions, the fakeness of the landing is well documented.
It seems to me that this liberal moneybags, that he took these billions for personal use, or maybe gave them to the USSR (we all know he was soft on communism)
Perhaps his death was similarly staged in order to keep his billions or keep congress of his case.
I wonder if under an obama administration we will see more moon landings.
We have an odd colored greyhound here, looks like fawn but there's a blue ticking in the hair and the barer skin on the belly and trailing edges has a dark blue tinge.
He's the boy that wouldn't play with Ruby despite her employing every flirting technique known to dogdom.
Thankfully she will be boarding for Christmas with a bunch of puppies who will run her off her legs.
She likes to lie on her back with all her legs out, looking like a dead plucked chicken. Catz have more dignity :-).
When she came in from her walk a few minutes ago, she stopped in the hall and started wagging her tail, which I hadn’t seen before. Turns out Shannon was in the dining room window, and apparently Ash was thinking about chasing!
Ruby chases the cat, Nifi, who is a complete wuss and will not so much as put out a claw. Fortunately for Nifi, all Ruby does when she catches her is lick her all over until she's soaking wet.
If our 14 pound male attack Siamese were still around, Ruby would only have chased him ONCE. He knocked sense into Shelley early on. She is still completely intimidated by the wuss cat, just to be on the safe side. Nifi gets up on the bed and meows at Shelley, and Shelley meekly retreats to the foot of the bed and covers her eyes with her paws . . . .
She’d been around cats before we got her. She’s tried to chase each of them once, because they saw her and ran. Now they stroll by casually. Shannon has Ash cowed, just has to grumble a little.
I’m BA-A-A-ack!
I don’t have much time to post, but I wanted to at least let you all know I’m safe and sound, and had a really great time.
As soon as my computer is ready to go online, I’ll give you a blow-by-blow account.
In the meantime, HI!!!
Hi! Let me know when you’ve got your muffins!
You got a greyhound!???
Awesome!
Yes, she’s been here a week now. Pictures are up the thread a little bit.
I’ll do that!
I have to go in a minute, but I missed you all terribly!
We missed you too. Glad you had a good trip!
Hello to you, too!
She’s beautiful!!!!
Hi, K!
We had sknow here and ice in AR!
I gotta go kids. It’s good to be back!
Hi, ‘Face!
Hi Face!
Welcome home!
Winston the Pom chases the younger catz. They run from him with their tails in the air, thinking it's great sport. Five minutes after he chases them, they're all sitting side by side like nothing happened.
Grandma, on the other hand, wants nothing to do with him. If he gets within two feet, she hisses. One foot, she growls. He doesn't even try to chase her (but he will sit near her just to see her spaz out.)
Our group is acting pretty civil, after only a week. Maybe they’ll end up being friendly.
It took Grandma a couple of years to grudgingly accept that the kittens weren’t leaving, and now they get on just fine.
She’s still holding out hope that the dog is only temporary...
Well, I can still hope.
