During the cold war, JFK claimed to have gone to the moon. He got congress to spend billions on his moon landing and pretended america landed there, convincing congress to give him billions, the fakeness of the landing is well documented.
It seems to me that this liberal moneybags, that he took these billions for personal use, or maybe gave them to the USSR (we all know he was soft on communism)
Perhaps his death was similarly staged in order to keep his billions or keep congress of his case.
I wonder if under an obama administration we will see more moon landings.

There have been a lot of accidents here. LoM reported that in some suburban areas the roads appear to have received no attention at all.
If I read the forecasts aright, a week from now it will all be behind us.

You know what the best part was?
For possibly the first time, I went in to the hell that is “Shopping at Christmas”, today, thinking that the best thing I could do was yield to everyone.
In the grocery store, a cashier opened a new register, and gestured for me to come over.
I offered it to two other women in the next line over.
One, a few years younger than me said “Thanks! I’m hurrying to pick my kids up at school.”
The older lady tried to argue, but I wouldn’t hear of it.
Now “that’s” the spirit of Christmas, eh?
It was so much fun!

Really? I don’t know if the aurora borealis has even been seen in North Carolina, although there’s a famous story from the Civil War about their being seen in Virginia.
I think we’ll make cake in the oven.
