I saw you walk by here the other day
And my mind was made up right away
That you and I would make a famous pair
Since we both have nothing but time to share

Keeping busy from when the Sun rises until it goes down
Perhaps too much, since your pretty face needs a smile instead of a frown?
Which magically disappeared the moment that we two locked eyes
Yet to figure all of this out, I need not be very wise
Just an excellent judge of character and not a vagabond in disguise

Who will make your heart lighter as the coming weeks and months go by
Keeping you company with an endless reserve of "What?"s and "How?"s and "Why?"s
I may not find all of the answers, though I'm sure I'll never roam
After you pick me up and introduce us to our wonderful new home

I just had a great nap...All 3 kitties joined me..The kittems would prefer all my sleeping be done in naps..Too many hours and Rocky is in my face..or Smoky and Rocky decide to rassle and run across the bed.

Ditto on pigs feet..After reading more about scrapple and seeing modern recipes leave out the liver..and that it is fried crispy like bacon..I could see trying it.
I saw some great recipes for other Pennsylvania Dutch food while I doing the scrapple search.

Meg, my mother used to make it and it was wonderful fried. I don’t remember what she used to make it but I don’t think liver was one of the ingredients. I haven’t heard of it or seen any of it for many years. Seems I may have seen it in the grocery store one time but I can’t be sure.

I emphasized the dog’s eye for added skepticism and tension. Cats and dogs are wonderfful together when they get along.
