Ditto on pigs feet..After reading more about scrapple and seeing modern recipes leave out the liver..and that it is fried crispy like bacon..I could see trying it.
I saw some great recipes for other Pennsylvania Dutch food while I doing the scrapple search.

Meg, my mother used to make it and it was wonderful fried. I don’t remember what she used to make it but I don’t think liver was one of the ingredients. I haven’t heard of it or seen any of it for many years. Seems I may have seen it in the grocery store one time but I can’t be sure.
