Oh. I don’t know if I can do any more 9/11 tributes, memorials or hymns. My eyes are swollen and look like a road map. My heart hurts from the revisited pain.

I don’t watch ABC news any more.
I used to like it when Peter Jennings was on, but since his death, it’s just not the same.
About the only thing I watch is the early morning local news and weather, and then General Hospital in the afternoon.
The rest of the time it’s documentaries or history or something in that vein. I just can’t stand the MSM.
And I get my news from FR, my home page (where I can select the sources) or news websites.

May your heart be at peace, friend, though I admit that painful memories are hard to set aside--and perhaps for good reason.
Remember how they wouldn't allow images of the many who chose to leap to their death than be burned alive to be shown. Remember how they told us that Islam is a religion of peace. Remember how we were told that America was attacked because of our "freedoms."

I saw (and kept) many of the photos of people choosing to leap to their deaths, as well as many others I would rather not have seen. I felt it was necessary for me to understand what kind of enemy we faced.
Islam is not a religion nor is it peaceful, and I will stand by that to my death.
It’s odd that only truly Godless people attack us for our freedoms. Islam, of course, and communists. Being vigilant on our shores and borders is not enough. We need to be vigilant within.

Islam is not a religion nor is it peaceful, and I will stand by that to my death.
The sooner we realize that 9/11 was more indicative of the character of historical Islam than merely some fringe sect, the better off we'll be. At present, we're still beating the drum of religious pluralism and diversity uber alles, so such a realization is unlikely.
Its odd that only truly Godless people attack us for our freedoms. Islam, of course, and communists. Being vigilant on our shores and borders is not enough. We need to be vigilant within.

The problem with Islam, and a few other religions, is that regardless of whom they worship as God, and regardless of what rules they claim to live by, they don’t really accept that all men are brothers and children of God.
They don’t accept that people need to be treated equally, and be equal before the law. That equal treatment before the law applies especially to women, who need it more than men.
And they don’t accept that the law MUST supersede their religious beliefs, because their religious regulations and proscriptions will protect them from others who believe the same way, but only a law that is greater than all religious proscriptions can protect everyone.

Like I said: Islam is neither a religion nor peaceful. I’ve see it up close and personal.
A woman is nothing more than a prostitute if she is not in a burkha; she must never look a man in the eyes unless it is her husband; she must never touch another man, even so much as a handshake; she will not be issued a driver’s license; she is not allowed to vote; when having company for any occasion, she has the servants serve the men, and the women and girl children are behind “screens.” She is not allowed to shop on her own; her husband must always accompany her. Boy children are favored over girl children. Girl children are chattel and are often “sold” as brides at the age of six, to be taken to the bed of the “husband” at the age of 12-14.
If a wife is not obedient, she can be divorced instantly when the husband says, “I divorce thee,” three times in succession in the presence of three witnesses.
Islam is not a religion. It is an insidious group of laws that keep the female subservient and obligated. A wife is nothing more than a vehicle to bring sons into the world to fight the Infidel.
Muslims will not be happy until they control the entire world. Believe it.
I have read the Quran. It is so full of contradictions that the only way children can be immersed in it completely is to take it page by page, memorizing parts, and NEVER questioning the differences!
