I got the following in email today. Religious or Spiritual? No. Silly and fun? Yes.

Easter Bunny Taught Me ALL I Need to Know!

ALL I NEED TO LEARN ABOUT LIFE I LEARNED FROM THE EASTER BUNNY!

Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

Walk softly and carry a big carrot.

Everyone needs a friend who is all ears.

There’s no such thing as too much candy.

All work and no play can make you a basket case.

A cute little tail attracts a lot of attention.

Everyone is entitled to a bad hare day.

Let happy thoughts multiply like rabbits.

Some body parts should be floppy.

Keep you paws off other people’s jellybeans.

Good things come in small-sugarcoated packages.

The grass is greener in someone else’s basket.

An Easter bonnet can tame even the wildest hare.

To show your true colors you have to come out of the shell.

The best things in life are still sweet and gooey.

"If I ever get semi-wealthy, I am going to have a housekeeper!"

Oh I would love to have a housekeeper. To be able to have a clean house and still spend lots of time on-line.

As soon as Marissa saw your name, you became a very important FReeper to her.

I’m really hoping for good luck with this guy. He really enjoyed her giving him so much attention.

The lady at the shelter was really great at explaining about how much it hurts her when they cannot place all of the kittens. She told Marissa that she knows they are in a better place.

When we got home, Marissa put his bed, water and food in the garage. She asked about the litter box; I told her that I would help her with it before we pick him up tomorrow.

Does it sound like she is anxious?

She Sounds So Sweet and Caring, the Way she is Getting Everything Ready for his Arrival. He will be Very Blessed to have Marissa for an Owner, Someone who is Very Kind. My Prayer is that her New Kitty will Bring her Endless Joy and Sweet Friendship. When I Say my Bedtime Prayers Tonight, I'll Thank our Lord for Giving her this Loving Gift. His Kindness to her has Filled me with Joy, and I'm not even the One with the New Kitty, Lol! : )

Thank you for Sharing this with us, because we can All Sort of Receive an Overflow of the Blessing that Came to her, Rejoicing in our Savior's Love. Our God is Good!

Spring Cleaning

March bustles in on windy feet
And sweeps my doorstep and my street.
She washes and cleans with pounding rains,
Scrubbing the earth of winter stains.
She shakes the grime from carpet green
Till naught but fresh new blades are seen.
Then, house in order, all neat as a pin,
She ushers gentle springtime in.

For winter's rains and ruins are over,
And all the season of snows and sins;
The days dividing lover and lover,
The light that loses, the night that wins;
And time remembered is grief forgotten,
And frosts are slain and flowers begotten,
And in green underwood and cover
Blossom by blossom the spring begins.

The Daffodils

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host of golden daffodils,
Beside the lake, beneath the trees
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay;
Ten thousand saw I at a glance
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced, but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay
In such a jocund company!
I gazed - and gazed - but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

— William Wordsworth

Spring

The birds seem happy when they sing,
In truth, they call a warning.
To other males who might intrude,
“Go somewhere else this morning!”

With strident voice and puffed out chest,
They pose as on display.
The ladies flutter here and there,
Today’s a shopping day!

They’re looking ‘round for husbands,
And other things as well,
Material to build a place,
For gifts wrapped in a shell.

Happy Father’s Day, my dear,
Go find a bit of lunch.
I think we’ll have some company,
Expect to feed a bunch!

It all happens so quickly!
Life Springs forth in a pace,
That seems to make a joke of this,
Spring-fevered Human race!

I should have posted this yesterday.

(I think I sent this to ‘Dita when she lost her kitty.)

Where do pets go when they die?

There are also many scriptural verses regarding how much God loves our earthly creatures.

Ahhh .... Spring Cleaning.
Thank you for the beautiful graphic and the Spring Cleaning poem.
Wonder if I could just open all the doors and let March do the cleaning.

Have a beautiful Spring Day, OESY!
