My professional opinion is that she is being treated too rough, given the severity of her offenses.

She seems to agree with you.

Youre right. They have gone out of their way to make sure it doesn’t look like they are giving her favorable treatment.

My rational opinion, as one who has been struck TWICE by drunk drivers who were driving on suspended licensee while on probation for previous DWIs -- is they were entirely TOO easy on this obnoxious and out of control skank...

In my court - I would have hung the bitch out to dry.
Too frequently -- we wait until one of these drunken bitches or bastards kills a law abiding innocent victim or child..

I believe an ounce of "preventative" measure is worth a pound of "cure" after the fact...

I'm more than tired of the "rich, famous, political and notorious" being exempt from the laws I must follow....

Drunk driving got her 36 months probation and a fine. Violation of probation got her 45 days. This is what *YOU* would've gotten. How in the h--- is this "too rough"??

If you're saying that her treatment is too rough, then you're really saying that the law is too rough on all of us.

Judge Napolitano agrees with you. He said no normal citizen would get this much time for doing the same thing. The judge and/or prosecutor are/is probably looking for publicity.

Perhaps, but a dam’n good spanking would be considered Assault and anyrate she’d probably enjoy it too much.

Now she is learning that handcuffs aren’t merely a kinky bedtime toy and that the Law is the Law and it applies to everyone equally even Paris Hilton.

In all, a good outcome.

In your professional opinion, then, what legal sanction would be appropriate to a well-heeled scofflaw like Paris Hilton?
